I missed out on PC. Based off that last pic I'm going to replace my regular Voltron with that one.

I was in hot topic today and they were unboxing many different pops, and I was looking at which to see if it was any with a chase - I noticed they were unboxing voltrons, then the two workers started acting odd and put I would say 4 of the 6 voltrons back in the box and one tucked it under her arm and took it to the back.... I thought this was weird, since I wasn't aware of any voltron chase, until I came home and researched here - is it possible that Hot topic got some of these today? Because today is the actual anime event..... It was very strange.

I Actually got this one here locally last Saturday. There's a card and toy "convention" going on inside a mall by where I live. Called serramonte. Anyways. One of the ppl selling pops. Said they've got them and could sell them. BUT they didn't have the stickers... That was like the "condition". So weird. They also had the Khols and amazons captain America. But also with no stickers. Like idk they said they got them from Funko or something like that. But they're not fake. They're actually legit. The only one I bought was actually the voltron. But they had tons of other exclusives and stuff. Pretty cool. If anyone here is from the Bay Area. U guys should check it out.

I saw some voltrons at HT today also, there's no chase though and I don't believe the metallic voltron has a retail release in the US, they were probably just saving some for themselves. Weird that they would do it out in the open though.

Yea I went on Saturday like at 930 when it had barely started. They were 30. Or that's what I paid lol

. But they're gonna have it again on September. So hopefully they'll have more if you haven't gotten urs. Hopefully the prices don't go up tho.

. They were being very sneaky with it. I called several hot topics in my area and none knew about it..... Except one guy and said they didn't have it yet.... Things that make you go hmmmmm...... Pop conspiracy lol

There were rumors that these would see a HT release around the time of Anime Expo. You're right that there is no chase, so it's possible that these rumors were true and maybe they can't be put out until a certain date.

Did you pre reg? Their lines have gotten WAY better since last year.

2013 we waited 5 hours
2014 we waited 8 hours
2015 we waited 1 hour

I WISH I could have gone this year! This year looks like a better AX.

Mine arrived today in a pop protector and packaged very nicely. I prordered through PayPal when the original Instagram went out. This piece is so fresaking cool in person.

Sounds like they ordered from Popcultcha and are re-selling them, since they don't have stickers.

I ordered mine direct through PayPal from animestasia or something like that. It was his Instagram. It has the anime sticker. It was the guy who is selling them at the con. He had limited preorders but people were sketched out because it wasn't on a website. I believe there is a website for a new store called funko peaks that has them as well.

i picked mine up at funko peak on Friday, but i wasnt sure where everybody was getting theirs. i knew they were selling it on their website, but i wanted to check them out finally and picked it up in the process.

He does look really good. I don't think they could have picked a better character to give the metallic treatment to. Did anyone ever figure out if HT was getting these? I know it was a rumor a while back. I never put any stock in it, but crazier things have happened.

Idk if HT is going to get the metallic version, but I saw the regular one online last night and ordered that. Got the new Poe Dameron exclusive too.

Yeah both of those are good ones. I got that Poe and was surprised at how good he looked. Probably my favorite one of him.

I'm pretty sure HT is not getting them. Animetasia made a post to "clear the rumor" and that as far as the US release went, it was exclusive to him. PC is obviously outside of the US, hence they have the figure, just without the sticker.
