New Jason with Axe in Head

I know people are getting tired of the same characters being revised all the time but this one is a bit different. The EE Jason has a bit of humor to it, don't you think? I just posted the Ghostface with horns and now we have Jason with an axe in his head. Perhaps we'll see more horror with a bit of humor in the near future.

What would be some good suggestions? Maybe Michael with a mohawk? Or Freddy with hot dogs on his blades?

I just need more Jason content. One of the best games with potential in Friday the 13th was lost because of that stupid lawsuit. Then Funko couldn't use the license anymore and we still have never gotten a Freddy as Jason. Here's hoping that Funko will bring some fun molds back to the fold. I love the Jason they did from the Friday the 13th game.

Hoping for some horror stuff for SDCC into NYCC

I don't think I remember any horror coming out of SDCC. That would be an interesting take and new wave of introducing pops that will get a lot of attention at the convention.

I think the axe placement was more logistical than accurate. The thought process is you probably look at the pop from the front and the axe is more noticeable if it were on the side. But I agree with the comment that I wish he were bloody.

I'm going to wait for bloody or glow variants of the Jasons coming out. It's nice that Jason Universe stuff is coming out but we still need the show and movie(s) to come out. The Sweet Revenge short was pulled from the official YouTube page (though there are other copies floating around on YouTube).

I don’t feel it as much. But, I didn’t realize how many people love horror and love this! I’d rather than Jason. But, how about a Hellrasier?

How about a new horror character altogether. How about the 13 Ghosts from the movie. They were freaking awesome and their backstories were great. I think they were planning on making a show based on the ghosts to tell more about their stories but it never happened. I'd collect some of them for sure.

That's a fantastic idea! At monsterpalooza a few years back there was a little like 8 year old girl cosplaying as The Jackal. She looked amazing.

I mean if you think about it from a marketing standpoint, you can spread out the 13 ghosts to various releases. A few store exclusives, so the drops are wasted as just commons, and then the rest at the major cons. If you're looking to move a large number of pops then conventions are the way to do it. I would say 4-5 at the stores, maybe 2 at Hot Topic, 2 at Boxlunch, and 1 at Walmart or a Funko exclusive. The other 8 divide it amongst the two major cons, San Diego and NY. I think this line would do very well.
