I guess it just depends on how much of a star wars fan you are. There are so many fanatics of all ages. So it's really cool to see literal children have a commonality with grandparents. Cons are always fun. This is just more concentrated with a specific thing that is loved by so many across the world.

Exactly this. It's a breath of fresh air from all the social media toxic keyboard warriors that hate everything about star wars (post original trilogy). Sure you'll run into some of those people, but overall it's about celebrating their love of star wars. So go and enjoy the panels, enjoy the merch and meet some new friends.
