Darth Vader Infinites

Postby geekygent78 » Sun Feb 08, 2026 12:53 am

As a Star Wars fan, when I saw this version of Vader, my initial reaction was "What the hell." Then after doing some research I learned this version of Vader is from a What If storyline. After the battle at the Death Star, Vader decides to go to the light side with Luke and Leia. The outfit is the outfit Vader decides to use. The story is pretty interesting and when I imagine an all white version of Vader walking towards someone, it still is menacing lol. I may have to grab this one when it releases.

The comics are great (although now technically fall under Legacy, and no longer viewed as canon). This was an alternate take. And all three of the books (ANH, TESB, ROTJ) were awesome, my favorite is probably TESB just because it's so different. This Pop! is a must for my collection.

I remember reading those comics many (many) years ago. Surprised to see this one getting the POP treatment but I will take it. Looking forward to adding this one to my collection.

Such a niche story in the comics but it's neat to see them branching out to do it. Makes me wonder if Disney would be willing to tackle a What If show for Star Wars like they did Marvel

If they did a What If series, I'd love to see what that looks like and who would be involved. The twins going to the dark side, maybe one of them does, maybe the Jedi order grows dramatically across the universe. What if Obi didn't die. The possibilities are endless.

I was never aware of this version... sorta disappointed they did not give him a blue or green light saber... but been eager for different Star Wars Pops... so lets do it.

The Lego version had a blue lightsaber so that’s a bummer they couldn’t give Vader a blue saber
Could also be mistaken for an art series funko lol
Thread of vaulted pops I’m selling, 1200 piece Chaos, SDCC Gus GiTD, SDCC Freddy’s ride, SDCC Whis and 9 other pops.

I think it's a cool version and out of the box thinking. Having said that, I thought it would be one my hubby was excited about and instead he was like I have too many Vader's now. LOL

Glad to see people are looking up new pops to see why instead of just bashing it as a lazy recolor
