Yeah the sets getting bigger doesn't even make any sense since the redemptions are showing about 60% for the Freddy's, so you would think they would do less so they could actually make all the Freddys. Just limit the epics to 10 and I think more people could redeem them.

The part no one is mentioning is with Scooby Doo they got Warner Bros to sign onto doing these NFTs

I don't think people realize how massive this is. You're going to be seeing some crazy drops this year

It scares me ,I'm trying to be picky but its hard with how good some of these lines have been.

Wait until we get to NFT lines for DC, Looney Tunes, Friends, Harry Potter and other WB properties.

I agree, and adding more epics just discourages me more since I rarely seem to get close to all of them and are pretty much the first thing I end up buying. If 125 is the new normal I may cut back even more than I already have as well. I'm going all in on Scooby so maybe the next one will be a line I don't need

Funko finally got me good. And I mean GOOD. I was watching from the sidelines, only dipping my toes in two drops because I thought it’d be fun to gamble, but with this set I’m all in. These legendaries are incredible. I gotta have everything but the Scooby grail. Captain Cutler has always been my favorite monster growing up with Snow Ghost a close second, so this’ll be the first set I need the royalty for. The Witch Doctor soda is another must have. I remember last year drawing a concept for that and Brian commenting a few of them were in the works.

I do agree that the Scooby grail is the least interesting of the redemptions, but it does match the Nick Toons grail at least. The Charlie and Freddy Royalty are both musts for me, but I hope to get all the legendaries.

The resale prices are crazy !! Theres other tmnt pieces more limited ( michelangelo and raphael grayscale LE 500 pieces ) and cheaper than pieces that are limited to 1467 pieces,, and even 10 % of the token are not redeem..will be more than 1000 pieces out there.

Prices will come down for sure, it'll still be expensive but prices are already dropping a bit it seems. Can't stay that price when there's more limited pieces going for much cheaper

I ended up selling all of my Epics (they sold really quick!) so this will be my first set with no redeemables. Kind of nice to break the streak so I don’t feel the pressure to keep it going for sets I don’t really like (I have liked all the royalty Freddy Pops though). I did try to get some trades going first but no offers for Epics, just a lot of people who wanted my Epics for their rares
If the next set is a month from now I would miss that one too, I will be in Atlanta for a work conference.

Yeah I have avoided some of the ones I didn't want. I am on fence with scooby, that royalty freddy. I am thinking though I am going to bow out of this one for the sake of my wallet and budget.

I wish the schedule was announced sooner. I feel that I would've went less hard on Transformers since I want the Scooby ones more

Seems the TMNT wave is shipping out and someone on Instagram shared a picture, so first look at physical pops for this line. As of now they aren't updating the stickers with the final amount claimed, and that amount is also on the image on the back so I don't think they'll update it from what's initially said

I have a feeling that 'I was able to go all-in on an NFT drop at launch' is going to join 'I went to SDCC and walked right in to the booth' as a Funko legend that future generations will not believe could really happen, but hopefully it's after Scooby since I want all of the redemptions for this one

They’re getting greedy, as with most things that cause people to throw fists of cash at them the dollar signs cloud their better judgement. They’ll run this golden goose into the ground way sooner than later because they’re not going to be able to resist the quick payouts.

and if you think about it while the licenses related to the drops have been great they aren't at the level of say Disney, DC, Marvel or DBZ etc...great drops but nothing that will bring in the masses...i personally think a TMNT drop today would be way different than what we saw months ago in terms of hype and participants.
