I'm thinking something smaller, we already have a Pop and a Dorbz ride. We'll find out soon though!

I'm sure everybody is getting excited about this box, I know I am, but just a reminder that any leaks will be deleted.

Thanks!

That wasn't a leak, those were still photos from Funko's video that they themselves posted on YouTube. And they were in spoiler tags to boot. Sheesh.

Well now that the video is up and running, what are everyone's thoughts on the map?
Suggestions, ideas, opinions, wants.....anything you think you will see from each location?

My thoughts....

Pirates Cove - April - contents known
Festival of Friends - June - Country Bears Jamboree, Hundred Acre Woods, Mickey & Friends
Ever After Castle - August - Cinderella's Castle, Beauty & the Beast
Haunted Forest - October - Haunted Mansion, Ichabod & the Headless Horseman, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Snowflake Mountain - December - Expedition Everest
Tiny Town - February - It's a Small World, Enchanted Tiki Room, Dwarf Mines

I'm hoping for something Sleeping Beauty from Ever After Castle like a blue dress Aurora or Briar Rose Pop!. For Haunted Forest I'm hoping for something from NBC. For Snowflake Mountain I'm hoping for something from Frozen.

I will be putting spoiler tags up for anyone who doesn't want to know the themes ahead of time.

Spoiler: show

Predictions:
Ever After Castle - I'm not 100% sure but I'm predicting based on the name "Ever After" that this will be the February box as it should ship out and arrive just in time for Valentines day, also I think we can expect to see Fantasyland, and specifically at maybe a long awaited Prince represented in this box.

Festival of Friends - I'm guessing this will either be the June or August box, not 100% sure how it will be connected to the parks, but I'm guessing we might see sidekick characters represented in the box. A couple potential ties are Hunchback of Notre Dame (only Disney movie I can think of that has a "Festival"), and maybe something to do with the Festival of Fantasy parade at WDW but that seems like a stretch

Snowflake Mountain - I would be shocked if this isn't the December box, and I would also be shocked if the Matterhorn and Frozen weren't the 2 main properties represented in this box.

Hunted Forest - I think it is safe to say this will be the October box, and that a mix of the following will be in the box: Villains (admit it, we all know there are a lot of villains that haven't been made yet: Mother Gothel, Shan Yu, Governor Ratcliffe, Stromboli, Evil Queen as Old Hag, Maleficent as Dragon, Lady Tremaine, Captain Gantu, and that doesn't even count if they go into the library of movies that we don't have any characters from yet), Haunted Mansion (still a LOT of potential ghosts from that ride that haven't been made), and Tower of Terror. a final potential that I would die of happiness of is the Headless Horseman

Tiny Town - I have no clue which movies this might be connected too but I have a strong feeling the Parks connections will be Small World, and I think this will be either the June or August box

After seeing these themes I'm not 100% sure Orange Bird is in this box anymore. I mean none of them make me think of him except for maybe Tiny Town and that's kinda of a stretch. He might be a parks exclusive after all :-k

Just with them releasing the themes, it makes me excited. I think you are spot on with places from the park.

I feel like I'm the only person who never liked Country Bears. I would love some Splash Mountain stuff in there, though.

Also, is it clear whether the entire DT subscription will be without a shirt, or is it just this box?

I might guess that the first 3 boxes won't have shirts, given that with the HT snafu, you were ordering the first 3 boxes but didn't input a shirt size. Then again, that wasn't supposed to have been put on their site, so who knows if the erroneous posting was even totally correct

I never cared for Country Bears either so you and me are in the same boat. Splash Mountain is also one of my all time favorite rides, due to some fantastic memories that I've made over the past year of being a Passholder to WDW and it would be cool to get something from it as well.

The themes don't provide much confidence and seems like might focus a little too much on the park. No Goofy Movie pops in sight unless the Friendship one is with Goofy and Max...

Hi Treswright,

We were under instructions by Yoko to keep any spoilers off until they posted it today. Anything before 11am this morning was considered a leak, which I also double-checked the time with her.

I apologize if I caused you any inconvenience and I hope we can now move forward and get back to discussing the subscription box.

I'm not sure who I want more, the bride or Madame Leota. The scary thing is that my 2 favorite rides in the parks have enough character that they could easily do full 8+ figure waves for each, or mystery mini sets

PotC: Jack Sparrow, Barbossa, Auctioneer, Redhead, skeletal pirate, the one interrogating the mayor, the dog with the keys, 1 or more prisoners, any from the final scene shooting each other

Haunted Mansion: Hitchhiking Ghosts, Hatbox Ghosts (3), Ballroom dancing couple, grave digger, Madame Leota, bride, singing busts (5)

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Also, I decided to send an email asking about my account because I can't tell if it has shipped yet and also mentioned that I had been hoping the box would come with a shirt because I love the Disney Pirates so much and I found the response I got interesting:

DisneyTreasures@Funko.com wrote:I can understand how the lack of a shirt may be something you weren't expecting since you're used to a shirt in most boxes in our other subscription boxes, but with Disney it's the opposite. Instead of a shirt in most boxes with the rare box that has something else instead, in Disney Treasures if we were able to include a shirt in a future box that would be a rare scenario. We've definitely jam-packed a lot of amazing content into all of the Disney boxes, so you don't need to worry about not getting your money's worth, but we're including other sorts of product in our Disney boxes and so usually won't have a shirt. We do ask for your shirt size like normal, though, so that if we are able to include a shirt in the future, we'll be able to send it in your preferred size! While I understand that you enjoy our shirts and were hoping for some Disney ones to add to your collection, and while I can't tell you what's in the boxes without losing my job, I can also safely tell you that I've seen the first full year and you better believe I signed up for my own personal Pioneer subscription without hesitation!

Huh. That is interesting. Slightly disappointing, I think we all really like T-shirts, but I don't doubt that the contents of the boxes will be great. I wonder what made them go this route, though.

Aww, I was looking forward to some t-shirts. I really need some Disney ones! I know Hot Topic used to carry some, but I haven't seen a Funko shirt since two Christmases ago. Hopefully Funko will release some new designs. I don't remember seeing any for Disney during Toy Fair. I'll have to look again.

Buuuut, that doesn't make me love these boxes less. I'm jumping like a little kid on the inside just waiting!

I feel like I read somewhere on the website that the box should ship after the first week of April or something like that. Getting closer?!

Personally I'm glad to hear that there won't be many shirts since they're only offering them in unisex, which doesn't fit everyone particularly some women. I love the designs, but I don't want something in every box that won't even fit me. If they were to offer women's fitted t-shirts that have a lower neckline where the bottom of the scoop neck hits about one inch below the clavicle l would be interested. This would be more flattering and still allow plenty of room for the design. I really dislike high necklines on shirts.

Me too...given their announcement about people who signed up prior to 4/1 getting it shipped like normal I'm surprised these haven't gone out yet.

When I logged into my account it said that it should ship within the first 10 days of April so there's still about 6 days left until they reach that point. I'm sure they'll start shipping out the boxes soon though.
