It's just random, some people with two subscriptions got two boxes and some got one. Some people with three subscriptions got boxes and others didn't. Some founders didn't get boxes and some people who have subscribed for two or three boxes got gifts.

They may have an algorithm they've used, that measures past spending/subscriptions, and gives a percent chance as to whether that person could potentially spend more. I used the same email for my SB and MCC subs, and for my Funko shop purchases. So they could have something they are measuring, and using the results to send boxes.

I don't know if it is a non marvel box but mine comes in at 1.838 lb. I got the email from "Funko DC" and it showed up in my LoC account. Tracking shows it still at the DHL facility in Texas...

I subscribe to both Smugglers Bounty and Marvel Collectors Corps. Have since the beginning of both.

Just received the MCC Secret Wars box. Free is always good.....

OK, I received Antman yesterday. To our surprise, when we came home today there was Secret Wars on our doorstep addressed to our daughter ... and we had no idea the second box was coming. Thanks Funko for making our New Years a big hit!!!

Hi everybody! :freddy3:

First time poster, but I found this place because I got one of the emails from Funko about a Surprise Holiday Gift, and had been wondering if anyone had gotten any kind of box in the mail. Basically Google brought me here! :laughing5:

I was pretty shocked and surprised when I got the email, but it was extremely exciting to get picked. I've been a subscriber to the LoC's DC Box since DCTV and the DC Legacy Box will be my fifth one. I thought I'd share my email situation, in case others haven't gotten any new information from Funko yet, because I was starting to think maybe I wouldn't get something after all. lol

I got the original email about receiving a surprise box on 12/29/16 and then I finally got another email and information in my LoC Account on 1/5/17! So it takes a bit of time, at least it did for me, to get new information. $\:D/$

I'm really hoping to get something Marvel, since I'm not really a Star Wars fan, but it will just be exciting to get the surprise and I am super thankful to Funko for selecting me! Currently both my DC Legacy Box and my Surprise Box seem to be in Kentucky! My Surprise Box says it is just under 2 lbs! I can't wait to see what it will be!! :cheers:

I thought everyone that subscribed to at least one of the boxes were automatically going to get a free gift box. I subscribe to two and I got the email about it but no sign of a free gift.

The one I got, Guardians, was 2.707 lbs and has a mug. The one en route is 2.781 lbs, tho I swear it listed as lighter earlier. I got both from SB, so I assume neither will be a SB box. I'm thinking anything this heavy has to be a mug, which means Guardians and Strange from MCC or Batman Villains from LOC. I'm hoping for the latter as I have the Strange box already.

I just received my email this morning, as well as tracking information. It's due to arrive in about three days.

Basically, just because you haven't gotten an email YET doesn't mean it's not coming. Keep your chins up!

. Just my luck. I have every Smuggler's Bounty box (doubles of most of them) and three Collector Corps boxes (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Deadpool, and X-Men). I remember subscribing to Collector Corps because of the Guardians Of The Galaxy box and being so disappointed when I received it. I had to relive that feeling again today, lol

. I was hoping for any Smuggler's Bounty box, the Ant Man box, Avengers box, or Doctor Strange box, but what I got was free so all I can say is, thank you Funko, it's the thought that counts. I still have another gift coming so hopefully I get something better, [-o<

Yeah you're probably right. The mugs tend to be heavier, so more than likely it's a box that contains a mug. I have most of the SB boxes. So maybe it's a MCC box that included a mug. Hopefully it's not the Guardians box. Maybe the Hulkbuster box? Hopefully it's delivered today.

I subscribe to Smugglers and SW. I got another MCC Guardians of the Galaxy box. Now I have 2 scarves to protect me from the brutal central Florida winters. :roflmao:

I just got mine in. I have a sub for MCC and buy LOC and SB on occasion if I like the theme. My free gift was SB Jabba. I definitely appreciate the free gift from Funko. Thank you!!!
