I think it's great to introduce new products because it keeps the engagement/interest going.

But I'm not sure if ProjectFred will succeed. For me, it's several reasons:

-Price
-The face is a bit ...menacing or creepy looking to me
-Timing is off especially when they just they have so many product lines that probably need focus. Also public opinion isn't so positive at the moment.

Still good on Funko to make people excited for what's to come and bring business to the restaurant. We will see how it goes!

I know it’s an 11 inch pop but that price tag makes it a no go for me, have baby on way and diapers are expensive.

100 agree on the concern and affect of price. It does worry mean that they might ostracize new collectors.

I do like the new Project Fred and I am considering buying it. Money is tight for us and it's Hot Toys level pricing so that makes it difficult to justify, but I am still considering it because I do like it and I have been pivoting to being primarily a Freddy collector.

Definitely a premium product. Almost feels like Funko is trying to dabble in the Designer Toy market like people mentioned above. People with the extra funds to spend will buy it and those who do not won't. Doesn't really seem like a long-term line though, maybe a special one-off release every so often.

Maybe its a case of "loss leader product" its more profitable the attention that we gave to this, that the actual product. Maybe just the introduction of a new format or line in bigger size, so when it comes the normal size doesent sound crazy at all.

I love me some Designer vinyl also and thats where the majority of my collection is, but yeah the price point for this particular sculpt seems a bit high. It is a larger piece and limited, but seems it should be closer to 150-200 and that seems still a little out of range.

Bearbrick comparison seems a good one, 400% ones go for about that 150 range, the 1000% ones are in the 500-1000 range

I don't see the value in it, not when there are far more detailed display pieces around the same size, for half the price. Theres nothing about this piece that warrants the $300 price tag. They were better off making it 1.5-2kpcs at 150 instead of 750pc at 300.

Personally I think these should have been a lot smaller, a lot less expensive and exclusive to purchase only at Bobs Big Boy restaurants. I like how it looks but truthfully it’s a bit out of my price range.

I think that exclusivity, of it being just at the restaurant, is a FANTASTIC idea.

See I'm fine with the design/mold, concept, limitedness...maybe so-so on the price. It's the overall size that is what's making me hesitant. Space was a huge factor when scaling down from Pops to Sodas....so perhaps this will be one where only maybe a couple of really sick designs will make it into our collection

I agree. I want to see it in person and see how it feels and looks. Hopefully they will have it on display at C2E2. The pins are awesome though
