Wobbler Converts
So, it could be said that there are some of us who just love Wobblers. Doesn't mean we don't like other Funko lines, we're just fond of springs. And maybe form time-to-time we spread the Wobbler love and try to get people to start up this somewhat-going-out-of-style collecting ritual. Have you recently picked up some Wobblers?
I'd really like to see who out there is a fairly recent convert rockin' a Wobbler collection, no matter how small or large. Maybe you've been a loyal PoP! collector and just picked up one Wobbler, which led to 2 or 3. Maybe you're just a new collector who started with Wobblers. If you're somewhat new to Wobbler collecting (let's say in the last year or year-and-a-half) I'm sure lots of us would like to see a pic of your collection--just a single shot if you want (even if you've already posted a pick of your collection--yes Baxter, you too).
What Wobblers do you wish you had?

Re: Wobbler Converts
Great collection Baxter!
I'm very slowly working on the NmBC Wobbler line. Also still need to get the classic Joker, some various Bone Daddy and some odds and ends. So I guess my collection is more of a wish list that keeps getting side tracked by Funkos numerous other lines
But some day if I ever catch up (HA!) with POPs, Minis, Reaction, Legacy, Fabrikation etc. I will finally be able to focus on Wobblers!

Re: Wobbler Converts
Like many of the newer converts, I started with Pop collecting but slowly turned my attention to Wobblers (thanks to Iron Man). I've always been fond of bobble-heads and with the detail that Wobblers have, it was a no-brainer! It's been nice to see people starting to collect or showing interest in the springs. Sometimes it just takes seeing one in person and then you're hooked!
Great thread, Scott. I look forward to seeing some collections posted.

I think I'm pretty much in the same boat as Abe, pops pulled me in but then I became a wobbler convert (and Spastiks, Blox, Hikari, Mystery Minis... you get the idea)
I think I'm a Funko-convert more than anything at this point
I went from a couple hundred pops only (still collecting them too) to now having a collection of all-things Funko that I am very happy with and excited to continue to grow
I have noticed my buying-habits are different for wobblers though, I tend to stick to what I really like vs. pops where I'll impulse-buy just to keep sets/lines complete. Also, for whatever reason, I can justify paying MUCH more for a wobbler than I ever could for a pop... I just can't explain it

Re: Wobbler Converts
Baxter, your Wobbler collection is looking mighty fine.
Was hoping to get some more pictures from you other converts--just one, doesn't have to be the whole collection; or if your collection is only one, that'll do.
I'll throw in a picture for fun. After a couple of years casually looking around, I finally picked up the last two Star Trek chase pieces I needed: Scotty and Dr. McCoy (thank you Al). I know there are two more (Capt Kruge and Khan), but I'm not interested in them; I don't even have their regular Wobblers. So, here is the chase ST gang.

That's kind of how it was for me Turtle, but Wobblers brought me in--Huck and Snagglepuss to be specific. Of course that led to Spastik (thanks Jacob), and then PoP! (yea, I have them too; had the entire Star Wars set and most of the DC Heroes, but now I just have select DC Heroes), and that led to Fantastik Plastik and Vinyl and Peek-a-boo Pop Ups and Funkovision and Nodniks and Cars and Banks and Mystery Minis (only 4) and Hikari and Legacy (only Firefly) and who knows what's next.

Re: Wobbler Converts
In listing all the variety of Funko I have, I still absolutely love those little Peek-a-boo Pop Ups. Not sure why I'm so enamored with those. Anyway, I know there are quite a few new folks who might occasionally stroll over to this end of the board, and have no idea what they are. For you, I present, Peek-a-boo Pop Ups--they're a card, they're a gift--they're just so plain cute...
The collection

The Beatnik proto was a never produced piece; there were two other never produced pieces: Elvis and a guy in a straight jacket.
Here's a sample of what a few of them say when you press them down.

I only have one of each sculpt; several of the pieces have two different messages; e.g., my Vulture says, "Ain't You Dead Yet?" and there's another one that says "You're Worth the Wait."
And one of the cooler things I have

Re: Wobbler Converts
Like Abe I started with pop but I started collecting other lines of Funko probably summer of 13.
I think it was Craig's thread where he showed off his collection that made me start collecting wobblers. I saw countless characters that I loved and had no idea existed (plus the protos!).
There are other threads that got me hooked like the very first few pages of the "vinyl valeta" thread and Jacob's dance thread. John's master checklist helped that cause too.
Seeing Carol's, Kevin's and many others galleries exposed me to a lot more too.
Pops are cool and I'll continue to collect them but there's more non pop items that I want. Soo many things.
Here's a few pics I posted the other day.
This is only a small part of my collection and I have a few holes in it.

Great collection, Mickey! I think we both started collecting Wobblers around the same time. I accidentally came into the Wobbler section and started perusing the older threads and got hooked on all the awesome Wobbler collections. I still enjoy looking at the wobbler display thread.

I started with POP! figures about a year and half ago, got my first Wobbler about 3 months ago. I started with Deadpool becuase Deadpool. And now my collection just doubled as a added a Big Boy to the collection. I picked up a Big Boy because I like to explore the history of Funko, and felt that a Big Boy was a must have.

Nowhere near everything but that's a good chunk of my collection. I started out with Pop but got a Freddy skeletor off Gemini after my first Fundays and never really looked back. The collection has slowed in the past year, but that is true for all of my Funko collecting as I was finishing school and moved into a much smaller apartment where I did not have room to display.

Name is Wil.

I'm still brand new to collecting and started with Pops a few months ago. Then one day while searching around on Gemini I seen the Wisecracks wobblers and just had to get one! Still have just this one so far but I do want to get all the Star Wars ones and who knows what others I just may HAVE to have.
Also, the saying on the bottom of this one perfectly sums up my impulse buying!

Is jams funko museum like a legit museum that you can pay to go to, or is it just h a huge personal collection
