Underdog takes a tumble!

Postby tomboy » Thu Jul 10, 2003 11:18 am

I don't know if overseeing the bar turned out to be too tempting or what, but my 20" Underdog fell today, taking a few glasses out with him on the way down. :(

When I first got him I noticed that he leaned forward slightly, but he still stood upright, so I didn't think it would be a problem...guess I was wrong.

Here's what he looks like now, it looks like the leaning just got worse with time.

He wasn't in direct sunlight, and the room is kept at a max of 78 degrees, so I don't think he melted. Has anyone else had this problem? Just wondering...

Mine does not sit very level either. I had to put a book of matches underneath mine to stop him from rocking back & forth. However mine does bend like yours does, He looks like he is about to take off and fly after Simon Barsinister!!!

He does! LOL

I guess I'm going to have to find a better spot for him...unfortunately, he got a few scratches from his fall...I don't want that to happen agin.

Sher

Mines in the box still...

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THAT TOMBOY. AFTER READING YOUR POST I IMMEDIATELY WALKED REALLY FAST TO MY UNDERDOG TO CHECK HIM OUT. HE'S THE CENTER PIECE OF ONE OF MY SHELVES. LUCKILY FOR ME HIS BASE IS COMPETLEY LEVEL AND HE'S STANDING STRAIGHT UP. WHEW.
I HOPE THE GLASSES YOU LOST WEREN'T TIKI GLASSES.

No Ness, luckily he didn't hit my tiki glasses! :)

He hit some small Coca-cola glasses, but only one of them bit the dust..the others look ok, just some scuffing on the glass.

Sher...let him loose! He could be suffocating in there! ;)

That's too bad about Underdog Denise. I had problems like that with my 20" El Diablo and had to send him back to Tower for a replacement. On the brightside Underdog is still available.

My Underdog usually topples over on the floor in front of the fridge with empty whiskey bottles near his side.

Yeah... we're having an intervention Saturday night for him. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.
