If you had to downsize to only 25 items what would they be and why?

[In the 5 plus years of collecting my collection ranges from pops being the most collected in our home to mystery minis being the second largest then dorbz, pintsize, hikari, fabrikations. So if I had to pick a top 25 funko items it would go as followed.

1. Freddy Leather face- my fiance got this for me and he was my first Freddy.

2. Red Metallic Hulk - was the first metallic pop I saw and freaked about.

3, 4,5,6. The Munsters all 4 - bought for my mom when she had her first stroke. We watched the show together when I was a kid.

7. Black dress Elvira - my parents watched her every Halloween and my mother use to sing the song Elvira to my father in the car.

8. Red Dress Elvira - First Funko event and I didn't win her or purchase her there at the event. I tried offered $300 for her but was declined. So happy that funko put her up in the shop. I managed to snag her and she is very sentimental to me. That pop signifies my parents but also the year I lost my mother.

9.Gid Skeletor- This is Childhood but my favorite Villain of all time.

10- Disco skeletor- Need I say more

11- Gid Mumm-Ra- 2nd favorite villain and me and my nephew use to play with Thundercats action figures every day. Between Gi. JOES.

12. Sdcc Bob's big boy- My god parents ran a big boys so most of my child hood was spent there.

13. Chase Leather face extra bloody Og- took me 2 years to hunt 1 down locally still one of my most coveted pops.

14. Fudo Myo-o - First pop I unleashed because all of his beauty was hidden in the box.

15,16,17,18,19,20 - Rainbow batman from the comics. My first batman set that started my batman collection. Now I'm down a never ending rabbit hole but I love every moment of it.

21. Sloth superman shirt - Hey You Guys!!! Enough Said!

22. Skeletor Freddy - He completed my Skeletor line until this year with the new wave.

23.Golden Girls set sorry can't choose just 1. Sentimental as well my mother and Grandma watched this show with me growing up.

24. Hikari ht stay put Rainbow- First Hikari and it's my fiance's nickname. bullet proof Marshmallow puff Hence my handle for the boards. Amazing sentimental piece!

25- Ht Gid La Muarte - First pop that made me weak in the knees. I knew I had to have her no matter the cost. She does not disappoint!

So many more I'd love to put on this list but I must stay within the limit .

This is gonna be tough... let’s see! These aren’t in any particular order, I’m just typing them as I think of em. I’m also doing a mixture of pieces I have and pieces I don’t but really want. Lol.

1: 9” Freddy Buzz Lightyear: it’s the best of both worlds! I love giant pops, Freddy Funko and Buzz! So it’s a win-win-win!
2: Director Freddy Funko: I loved attending the event and would never everrrrr get rid of this awesome piece!
3: Planet Arlia Vegeta: Dragon Ball is my jam, so this being the ultimate DB grail, I’m gonna need it!
4: Still on the Dragon Ball kick, the 6” Shenron is wayyy too awesome to not have in my collection!
5: Steamboat Willy: I’m huge on Disney and Mickey Moise, and Steamboat Willy is what started it all for Mickey! So it’s a must have.
6: Headless Hershel from TWD: I love the show and Hershel is still one of my favorite characters though he’s long gone.
7: Genie from Aladdin: My second favorite Disney Movie growing up just under The Lion Long, I’ve got to have it represented on my shelf!
8: 10” Thanos: I’m a big Marvel nut and looooved Infinity War and how Josh Brolin portrayed Thanos. So having a giant Pop of the dude is epic!
9: Comikaze exclusive unmasked Spider-Man: Spidey and his alter-ego Peter Parker is the character that got me started on the path to nerd-dom!
10: Zurr-En-Arrh Batman: just because of the sheer chaos around getting this piece, I look at it as a trophy of sorts. Lol.
11: Common Mega Man #102: Aside from Sonic and Super Mario, the Mega Man games were my favorites growing up!
12: Knuckles: As listed above, Sonic the Hedghog brings back a lot of nostalgic memories. Knuckles was one of my favorite characters so he would be a welcome part of my list.
13: SDCC GITD White Ranger: JDF (Tommy Oliver) was always my favorite Power Ranger. He was already badass as the Green Ranger, but once he became the White Ranger it solidified his spot as #1 ranger.
14: Mr. Meeseeks Chase: the first episode of Rick and Morty I ever saw was the Meeseeks episode and I was hooked!
15: Logan w/ his motorcycle: Wolverine is my boy!!! Even back in the 90’s animated series he was rocking a motorcycle and looking like a badass. So this piece stays!
16: Boba Fett (though I wouldn’t mind the SDCC version, I’m fine with the common): He’s one of my favorite Star Wars characters!
17: Any of the “Fredpool” Freddy Deadpool’s: once upon a time I was trying to collect ALL of the Deadpool pops... but quickly realized it would either be impossible or impossibly expensive to complete. So I gave up! But one of these grails would make me one happy DP fan.
18, 19, 20 and 21: All 4 Haunted Mansion ghosts: Arguably my favorite ride at Disneyland, so I’ve gotta have these guys!
22: Metallic Doctor Doom: This is a piece I’ve wanted ever since I started collecting, and it’s only become harder and harder to obtain.
23: My grayscale The Thing from Fantastic 4: He’s always been my favorite member of the team and this was one of my first “grails” I ever obtained.
24: My Deadpool “Dressed to Kill” color proto: it was my first ever Pop proto that I got at Fundays 2016.
25: Cheshire Cat: a must for any Alice in Wonderland freak!

This would be so tough for me to do.

I can't listen them out individually because due to my current living situation, they are all mostly in storage. Once the house my wife and I are having built for us is done, we will put my funkos on full display. I can say the lines I would start with.

1. Fundays 2016 haul - It was my first fundays and just too memorable
2. Conan pops - my wife and I worked hard during the con for these
2. Mr Toad pop and Dorbz Ride - My wife and I worked hard for these
3. Disney Treasures pops - a lot of these pops bring back childhood memories for my wife and I
4. Joker from loot crate - this started all of it. It was my first pop that my wife, who was my girlfriend during Christmas 2014, got for me.
5. Some of my freddy collection - I just love the freddy pops
6. Then my top Disney or Marvel pops - my favorite two lines

I don't even know if I make it to 6 honestly. Does it have to be 25? Can it be 30? Why 25?

1-19) Assorted Deadpools- Unfortunately a lot of Deadpools would have to go, but there are far more than 25, so there’s nothing I could do.
20.) Star-Lord with Mixtape- Favorite pop from my favorite movie. I’d be insane not to keep it
21.) Teen Groot- I’d need a Groot of some sort. I’d settle for Teen Groot because he’s the best looking of them all.
22.) Rocket Raccoon w/ Jetpack- This one is awesome.
23.) Drax- Gotta keep the GOTG together!
24.) Gamora- Gotta keep the GOTG together!
25.) Jar Jar Binks- Jar Jar is actually my favorite character of all time, and he only has one pop, so naturally I’d have to keep him. If there were 25 Jar Jars I would absolutely keep all Jar Jars.

Luckily, the day won’t come where I have to scale down to the very specific number of 25 pops, so I don’t have to worry about it. I can keep all 100 something Deadpools, and everything else too.

This is hard to do. I am not a completest with any lines, but I do collect from a lot of different lines: Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Sailor Moon, Sherlock, Sesame Street, Star Wars Rebels and the occasional Stranger Things pop. I have around 250 in my collection.

If I had to pick my top 20, I would probably go with:

Marvel: Thanos on Throne, Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Thor. I only really collect the MCU pops, and I feel these original avengers and Thanos provide a good representation of the MCU to date. I would also add Star Lord for GotG2, because I like the character and the Pop is so cute. (8 pops)

Disney: Dancing Belle and larger Beast - these two characters are so ironically Disney. Maleficent with flames - such a detailed pop from my favourite classic Disney movie. Earth day Wall-e - far too adorable to ever part with. Seated Winnie the Pooh, again because he is so cute. And Rex, because it is such a well made pop (6 pops)

Doctor Who - I would probably just go with the 10th Doctor in his long coat. My favourite new series Doctor, and my favourite Pop of him. (1 pop)

Harry Potter - I think I would be happy with just the three main characters. I would go with Sorting Hat Harry, Ron with Scabbers, and Hermione holding the books. (3 pops)

From Adventure Time/Steven Universe I would go with the pocket pop BMO because he is my favourite character, and Steven and Lion (3 pops).

Miscellaneous ones would be - Flocked Elmo and Chuckie from Rugrats because they evoke a lot of nostalgia. Han on the Taun Taun because that is such an amazing display piece. And Moriarty with the crown jewels - for some reason I just really love that one (4 Pops)

2. Metallic SDCC Thing; recently got one and fell in love instantly. Hes so shiny and love his blue eyes.
3 + 4. Bait Bruce lee Pops: Im Asian LOL
5. Stan lee Custom: I created a Stan lee Iron Man and had him sign it. Great meeting him and having him sign a Pop.
6. Judge Dredd: Signed By Karl Urban. Awesome guy to meet
7. Freddy Flux: Another Fundays Pop that looks great and plus the black box is amazing.
8, 9 and 10. Chrome Batman Set: They look great together and can’t get rid of them!
11. Chase Smaug: My first chase I purchased.
12. GITD Thor: After Infinity War, I can’t get rid of this one. Vaulted high on top of my love list.
13. BB8 Sf Giants: Huge Giants fan and Huge Star Wars fan. No brainer.
14. Megazord: Signed by 3 of the 5 rangers. One of my biggest personal grail pieces.
15. Holo TOTY Freddy: Great gift from Funko and love that they did this for their fans.
15-25. LANTERNS: Sorry for bunching them all LOL But my lanterns. Green Lanterns, Blue lantern, white lanterns etc. I love the lantern line and Green Lantern is my favorite DC character. Blackest Night was my favorite comic book arc and I read that one so much. Having all the lanterns together each representing their color just looks amazing and is one of the highlights of my collection. Love them so much.

I'm probably down to an actual 25 now that I keep on my desk at work. I downsized the living space a few years back so 95% of my collection is in storage. Whenever I go I rotate pieces out...right now I have my red chrome Freddy, a few batman pops, Qui Gon, wolverine and a few random DC pieces. The grails are locked away unfortunately. I think the only Freddie's I have at home now are Funko shop ones like nerd and superhero Freddy. This is an impossible question for me. I've gotten used to having only a handful at a time but always switch up. I guess the one piece I'd have to have is the Clyde ghost from pac man because that's my name but the other 24 must have...who knows?

What a cruel, cruel thing to make me do! They’re like my babies, each and every one of them! But if I HAD to, begrudgingly, maybe possibly kinda sorta have to choose, I’d probably, but don’t quote me, go with:

1. Arkham Knight Scarecrow (Scarecrow is my favorite villain, and this is one of my favorite designs of him)

2. LOTR Balrog (it just looks phenomenal)

3. Kingdom Hearts Halloween Town Set (cheating, I know, but they really belong together. Kingdom Hearts was my favorite game growing up, and NBX one of my favorite movies. The fusing of the two was, and is, pure joy for me)

4. POTC Davy Jones (I love the design and characterization of the character. He’s just so cool!)

5. Invader Zim Pop Ride (one of my all time favorite shows finally got one of the coolest rides ever)

6. Pennywise in Gutter Movie Moment (the new IT movie was a pleasant surprise, and that scene in general is just iconic)

7. General Grievous (another of my favorite villains)

8. Dark Knight Joker (my favorite acting performance ever from what’s tied for my favorite movie ever)

9. Sexy Ian Malcolm (JP was my favorite movie growing up, and remains very nostalgic for me)

10. Hercules Pop Ride (another nostalgic choice)

11. Lock, Shock, Barrel Mystery Minis (again, cheating, but they’re a set. I don’t have the Pops themselves yet, but I put the MM in my Kingdom Hearts Pop display, and they’re technically in scale this way. )

12. Monster’s Inc. Roz (‘nuff said)

13. Bearded Tyrion (I think he’s one of the greatest characters ever written; complex, fun, witty, good natured)

14. Captain Jack Sparrow (the very first one. It was the very first Pop I ever received, and awakened my love for them today)

15. SDCC 2017 Tigger (because it’s fuzzy, and my old cat was named Tigger, so I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for the character)

16. Hades (such a great character and Pop)

17. Carol Peletier (again, such a rich, complex character who’s acted to perfection. The character of Carol has helped me overcome some of my own real life issues (in the non-murderous way, of course), and given me so much strength)

18. Weird Al (he’s brought me so much joy and fun over the years)

19. Tim the Enchanter (again, for nostalgic purposes)

20. Snape as Boggart (such a cool piece, one I never thought we’d get. To me, it’s the perfect encapsulation of why I love HP so much- the wonder, the mysticism, the tiny details)

21. SNL Stefon (This Pop has everything……..)

22. RuPaul (an odd choice, I know, but I never in a million years thought we’d get Drag Race Pops. That show is a guilty pleasure of mine, and has helped me embrace alot of things about myself that no other show has)

23. Dorbz BTAS Batmobile (it’s the freakin’ Batmobile from what’s, in my opinion, the best animated show of all time)

24. Tina Belcher (she’s just….me.)

25. Spyro the Dragon (I know he’s not out yet, but I’ll have him the second he is. Those games WERE my childhood.)

This is all going off their meaning to me, vs. monetary value. There’s also about 50 more I wanted to put on here (Gold Dragon Daenerys, BTAS Mr. Freeze, Chase Georgie, Boo, Toy Story Rex, and ones I don’t have yet but would definitely keep, etc.), so it’s not a definitive list. But I did the best I could!

Really tough one:
1. OG Belle - Took such a long time to get it at a low price that I could never give it up.
2. Megazord - Best 6" Pop ever made, and one of my absolute favourites.
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross - Favourite set of my favourite show. These were the Pops that definitively got me "into" Pops.
9. Alice Rock Candy - Such a great figure and so much better than the Pop.
10. Chronosphere Mad Hatter - Love the character and the Pop.
11. Dracula - Just a perfect Pop, probably my overall favourite.
12. Pennywise - I can't decide which one, probably with the severed arm.
13. Obi-Wan Kenobi - The RotS one, such an incredible Pop for my favourite Star Wars character.
14. Garderobe Belle - Best Belle Pop.
15. Belle holding Lumiere - I also love this one
16. Live-Action Beast - Same as above
17. Winter Beast - Favourite Beast Pop, such a brilliant one.
18. Queen of Hearts - Incredible Pop, was so excited to get this when it came out, few Pops are made so perfectly.

20. Action-Pose White Ranger - While I do have the OG White Ranger, I much prefer this one.
21. Liberty Freddy - My one and only Freddy, really really love this displayed with the Friends Pops.
22. Wonder Woman with Gauntlets - Would need to keep a WW Pop and this is my favourite of the movie ones.
23. Metallic Star Sapphire Wonder Woman - There was a time I hated this Pop, and I admit to buying it entirely because it was cheap. But now it's one of my favourites and so it wouldn't go.
24. Hercules on Pegasus Ride - Ideally would keep the set but this is the centrepiece of that collection so would have to stay.
25. Alice Dorbz 4-pack - Does this count as one? These are my favourite Dorbz, probably, so much nicer than their Pop versions.

This is really hard as I really do only buy what I really love nowadays. Honorable mentions have to go to Malcolm Merlyn, Green Arrow Dorbz 2-pack, Kong Lian Er, Elvira Rock Candy, Jessica Rabbit Rock Candy, Frankenstein, the rest of the Pennywise's, Dragonzord's, Nosferatu, Faded Cheshire, both Bellatrix's, and Ares.
That all said, Spyro would enter this list immediately on release, as that'll end up my favourite piece!

I like reading out what means the most to people. Sometimes it's memories, sometimes it's gifts, sometimes it's how hard it was to track down. This is a really hard list to make until i clear my mind and realize what is replaceable and what isn't. And it's interesting to see that some things that would be a favorite because of dollar value are actually more important for other reasons.

this is pretty tough and in no order of importance:

1.) & 2.) Mulder & Scully - By far my most favorite tv show growing up and I love these 2.
3.) Yellow Dress Belle- Favorite Disney movie and it was a piece I thought I wouldn't get for a long time.
4.) GITD Billy - Was one of the first glow horrors that I purchased for a great price from an awesome collector.
5.) Bruce Lee- either one - reminds me of when I watched Enter the Dragon with my older brother
6.) Battlestar Galactica Cylon 7.) Starbuck & 8.) Apollo - love this show and another one I watched with a diff. brother
9.) GITD La Muerte - I love glow pops and she has one of the best glows imo because of the multi-color glow
10.) GITD Wolverine - I love all my wovlies, but the glow takes the cake because well his glow .
11.) Phoenix - big x-men fan so she's gotta make my list
12.) x-men = there's too many! I love all my x-men pops really so lets just pretend they can be interchanged on this list
13.) Metallic Universal Monster pack - gets 4 on the list with just one choice and old school horror! then metallic to boot. I love horror and you can't go wrong with the original monster squad.
14.) OG Green Ranger, 15.) OG Pink Ranger & 16.) OG Red Ranger - When I started I missed these and didn't see them until they were already at a price I wasn't comfortable with so they were pieces I worked towards getting and was super happy to get them all for a great price later down the line.
17.) Megazord - green/white ranger has always been my favorite and this was a must have
18.) Shenron - I think this piece is one of the best pieces funko has put out recently. the work and detail in the piece just made me go wowww
19.) Vegeta 20.) goku 21.) beerus 22.) frieza 23.) Trunks - DBZ anything is a most have, but these 5 are what I would narrow it to if I had to, If I had to I would choose any 1 variant because I just love em so doesn't matter which one. Watched this show as a kid and my brother again got me into it and I have a lot of memories connected to the piece.
24.) 9" Daryl Dixon - I love my oversized Daryl, it was a gift and he almost drowned on a rainy day so I'll always remember that and how I was super lucky that day.
25.) oh shoot I'm gonna have to cheat here and Say Mike and Sully are a pair I love those 2 and they have a special meaning to me and my partner so yep I wouldn't give em up!

It's really hard not to keep going, but I did it! I love that everything is so nostalgic for one reason or another.

Can't happen, because the two (Doctor Who and HP/FB) main lines I collect have over 25 each I'd sooner sell them all than split them up.

1. Ghost rider - he was my first pop and what started it all.
2,3,4,5,6,7,8 - all my pop up shop marvins, scoobys and stupor daffy. I went with my mom and the people I was waiting in line with made the experience amazing.
9. Social media freddy - can't believe I won it from funko and it was a mystery prize. I'm still in disbelief I have him
10. Golden frieza - DBZ/DBS is my main anime.
11. Battle deku - me and my moms favorite anime to watch together.
12,13,14,15,16 - all my predators. I love sci fi and he is one of my favorite aliens/warriors of all time.
17. Hot topic goku - was given to me from my friend.
18. Freddy funko holding space needle - was given to me as a birthday gift from a fellow funatic I met at the pop up shop. His name was tony and was an amazing person to talk to.
19,20,21 - ruby rhod, corben dallas, leeloo. I love the fifth element and is one of my favorite movies I watch till this day.
22. Groot holding mix tape - bought him for my mom as her bday gift.
23, 24 - garrus and commander shepard. One of the most played games I ever played. I played all 3 and even andromeda but the original 3 is what holds a special place for me in gaming.
