Hooded Luke, Hoth Leia, and Garindan (Back of Max Rebo box)

Anyone have any idea when these will drop? I have had the Luke and Leia preordered from GS for over 3 months. No idea if the Garindan will be a store exclusive somewhere but really just wondering when these will arrive in stores. Anyone have any insight?

Just read in the Powered by Funko forum that Gamestop pulled the pre-orders for Hoth Leia? Is that true? I have already paid for it in full with no notification that it was cancelled. Looks like I may be stopping in at my GS in the next day or so.

I just redid my living room Star Wars shelf and half of it is Hoth themed in anticipation of the soon to arrive SB box, but I would LOVE to get my hands on a Hoth Leia to add to the display. I really hope she doesn't end up being a hard to get exclusive...

I am excited for the Hoth Leia to be released to go with my other Hoth Star Wars pops, and the hooded Luke is a must have as well!!! I love Star Wars and I am excited to see what else Funko has in store for us this year!!!

I'm calling this as well. *fingers crossed* They never seem to put the character on the box (Dagobah Luke) IN the actual box.

Looking forward to all 3. Luke for my Jabba's Palace set, Leia for my soon to be Hoth set and the Garindan just because he's freaking cool!

I hope Hoth Leia comes out soon - I have been wanting that one forever. Now I'll just need an Endor Leia (speeder bike and Ewok village) and celebration Leia. Oh and I guess a cloud City Leia as well to be complete. Are there any other Leia outfits I'm not remembering?

if you want to get really nitpicky, a Cloud City escape Leia would have the Hoth suit without the vest.

a General Leia from RotJ (no ponch or helmet)

Also, an awesome 3 pack would be Chewie, Bespin Han and Hoth Leia all with breathing masks on from the asteroid scene.

4 if you want to count an animated Rebels Leia

I agree, a Cloud City Leia would be amazing! but I have to confess that it's not one of my favorite looks for her. IDK why but original ANH and Hoth are my preference...we won't mention the metal bikini

I'm not allowed to state my source, but I can confirm that it was at least at one point meant to be a HT exclusive. I did learn of Gold BB-8 being a Black Friday HT Ex from the same source and that turned out to be true, so you can trust me.

The members of the Alliance deferred to her original title of Princess. That makes sense in the OT as Alderaan had only recently been destroyed. It would just be cumbersome and awkward to call her Princess General Leia or General Princess Leia. I don't think anyone in the Alliance had the slightest doubt that her importance transcended a military rank anyway.

I realize of course she's known as General Leia in TFA. This makes sense, for a number of reasons, though. At this point we're decades removed from the destruction of Alderaan so immediately referring to her royal title would seem outdated (though I loved that bit between Poe Dameron and Lor San Tekka when he says "Oh, the General? To me, she is royalty."). Also, at that point, Leia had been serving in the New Republic Senate for a very long time and people would have naturally called her Senator Organa like they do in the TFA prequel novel, Bloodline. But once she leaves the Senate to start the Resistance, calling her General makes complete sense. Or Commander. But that seems to be reserved for pilots given that Han was General Solo whereas Luke was Commander Skywalker.

That's awesome! Honestly, I think George Lucas just liked calling Leia a princess and didn't stop to think that she probably should have been addressed as a general. I'm glad the toy company picked up the slack!

I appreciate you trying to make sense of George Lucas's mess, . She was a princess and a senator I guess at the same time and then when Alderaan went kablooey, she was a princess in name only and then the senate was basically disbanded, so she wasn't a senator anymore. She was treated like she had a command position in episodes V and VI, but I think Lucas was too in love with the idea of her as a princess to realize she should probably be addressed as something else. Honestly, it's weirder that Han and Lando get made generals in episode VI. Han's been out of commission for awhile and Lando hasn't been around that long. Maybe Wedge didn't want to be a general
