Marvel TV Pop!s

If allowed I would like to talk about something I find strange in the Marvel Pop line (get it?). Marvel are making vast investments in the television division of the MCU with new shows like 'Jessica Jones', 'Luke Cage', 'Iron Fist' and the rumoured 'Most Wanted' set to join the already very successful 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D', 'Agent Carter' and 'Daredevil'. So why are there only three Marvel TV pops and one Pop Ride (with a repainted figure). It seems in my mind to be a missed opportunity to not expand the lines of AoS and AC to include Jarvis and Skye. Funko are licence holders for DD merch so pops can be expected but how inclusive will that line be? And what of the other shows will we get Jessica Jones and Purple Man in the future? What do you guys think of this?

Well if you think about it also.. Both Coulson and Peggy Carter were in Marvel movies. So in reality only Agent May is straight from a TV show.

True but they were released under the banners of their respective shows. Also it makes it more depressing to think that May is the only one actually from a show alone!!

Last I heard, Funko had procured the Netflix Daredevil license for Pops, so that's only a matter of time...I'd imagine the launch will probably be closer to whenever season 2 airs.

I was moving around my AOS stuff tonight and I noticed that on the back of May's box it's just her.
She's not even listed in a set with Coulson. It's just a picture of May from season one.
Coulson's box is like that too, but you would have thought that with May they would have put Coulson on the back to show his number in the "line" kinda odd.

I do hope that one day AOS gets an actual line of pops. I want Fitz, Simmons, Bobbi, Lance, Mack, Daisy, and Ward. Pretty much everyone. A lot of people want AOS pops but funko still won't give the show an actual line. It's very saddening to me.

The Ride of Lola gives me hope for more AOS pops down the line but I won't be really happy until we get an actual set.

I definitely think Daredevil pops are coming. I'm hoping for both suits, Kingpin, possibly even someone like Nobu and battle damaged Matt. Maybe Foggy. Then with season 2 we need Punisher and Elektra

I definitely hope they make more. I'd buy a Dum Dum Dugan Pop (although I think he's unlikely to be made :P), plus Pops from Daredevil (DD of course, Wilson, Vanessa, probably Karen) and Jessica Jones.

AoS needs Skye Deathlok Ward and FitzSimmons at least. For Agent Carter i think Jarvis would be enough although Howard would be cool too!
Daredevil should have Matt in hi lawyer attire and cane, Daredevil suit, Vigilante suit, Fisk, Punisher and Elektra. I'd like Foggy and Claire but that might be asking too much.
with the rumours of the Bobbi/Hunter spinoff 'Most Wanted' we might get Huntingbird as POPs (I SO NEED THEM!!)

the funny thing is that the stores I go to that have carried some to test them out told me that they aren't selling at all where as they move dozens of pops in a day. I can't even figure out how to sell my Ultron Dorbz from the CC box, I have no desire to buy Dorbz, nor to keep it, but nobody seems to be buying it.

yeah i have no intrest in them either. i noticed my local comic store no longer stock Dorbz and they said its because people dont like them :/ are they doing well in the states?

at least if there are plans to make Marvel TV Dorbz then pops must be coming .... right?

I have to first admit I prefer classic comic versions of my Marvel characters over all others, BUT as for the tv shows, I really do want some more Pops of them.

AoS- Daisy in Quake gear, Bobbi in her gear, Fitz, Simmons, Ward and maybe Mack. I assume also we'll eventually get some Inhumans as more of them show up and make bigger appearances.

Agent Carter- I really only need/want her, but wouldn't mind Howard Stark either, and maybe Jarvis.

DareDevil- Matt with sunglasses, suit and cane, then the black suit and the red suit. Kinpin, although I'd prefer a comic version in a white suit. Eventually Elektra and Punisher.

Jessica Jones- Hard to say, but it's Marvel, so her, the Purple Man and whoever else looks cool.

I love Marvel, and grew up on Marvel comics, so these things are more or less a dream come true as far as movies and tv shows, so Pops just make it that much more awesome.

This is correct. he's very new in the comics but pretty popular. Nice storyline for TV that's for sure.
