I bet the Deadpool will be popular, and also the Malcolm Merlyn, considering he's John Barrowman :p

I got Hong Kong phooey for nostalgia purposes. I never got the actual figure they put out a while back but had to have to pop.

Most of the HB figures sell out every year so I assume there is a demand for it.

I'm really curious about it! The ones listed on poppriceguide, even the limited ones, aren't really priced that high. Only the super limited (like 24pcs) are worth well over sticker price. It's really interesting to me how they decide what to make each year (other than studios paying for the privilege for promo, obvs).

I asked for Hair Bear during the Christmas reveals so I'm super excited for him!!!

The problem is it is three repaints of one of the bears. Or one original and two repaints. There were two other bears that looked completely different

I am with you, I think these are for a particular generation, as an 80s baby I grew up on Hanna Barbara replays. While I haven't chased down the POP!s yet I appreciate seeing them made... And I would love seeing more characters made, and easier to purchase... Especially Scooby and the gang(with monsters.).

I'm totally an 80s baby (born in 81), but I guess I just wasn't into Hanna-Barbera other than Flintstones/Jetsons/Yogi Bear. I was much more excited by Thundercats and the Golden Girls lol. But I'm glad there's an audience!

They were on the back of the box, so the other two are coming. It just hasn't been announced where and when.

I'm right there with ya. I was so excited for the GI Joe Pops and if Funko were able to make Pops for the 80s transformers cartoon I would be one of the first in line to buy them. That said, I still have a place for Hannah Barbera, admittedly, they are fifth out of five on the priority of the licenses I collect.

Wave 5 is the weakest wave so far, IMO. Nothing I'm interested in. I've never heard of the Hair Bear Bunch either. Hopefully Friday will be better.

It's not numbered, so it should be available outside of SDCC.

Makes sense that the Hair Bear Bunch is numbered. I doubt that they'll be highly sought after at the con.

Up until recently, I was doing very well with the exclusives this year.
I can wait on the Powerpuff Girls, wanted Duck Dodgers & Perter Potamus but understand I have no chance in landing them.
Ecto-1 is a must have. Cried when I saw Cone of Shame Doug was a TT exclusive...so missing that one.
Then the new wave happened. I was a HUGE Hair Bear Bunch fan and wanted one so badly, but again do not see me landing one. Jack & Merlyn are must haves for me as well. Doomsday is cool and would buy if I saw it, but not going to fight for it.

So that is 3 I can wait for, 3 that are listed as limited (no number) that I must have, 3 that I stand no chance of getting because of the limited number run, 1 I probably won't find because of the company selling it, and 1 I would buy if I found it but wouldn't go out of my way for.

Are the limited runs (non numbered) usually pretty easy to get hold of after SDCC for reasonable prices? I'm starting to get a little worried about luggage space and might have to order a couple when I get back

I still think wave 2 was the weakest, personally

Maybe weakest for you but killed me! Nightmare before Christmas, Arrow, BvS, & Hanna Barbera....all really cool pieces.
Wave one was extremely weak. A 3-pack I don't care for, a figure already release but with a glider, & three POPs I would want but I can wait and get them later.
But again, it is all based on personal preference and opinion. To each their own

Most of them rolled for about $30 the weeks after only jumped when they were no longer in stores. I think last year some were available online for a hot minute.

The four Lil Gruesome 1/500 colorways were super easy to get last year even weeks after the con, so if Hair Bears are this year's LG then you're in luck! Even now the set of 4 sells for barely 100 on eBay.

right on ... it's all about supply and demand but if there is little or no demand you can get them easily and a fair price after SDCC is completed.

That's good to know. I saw one of the Gruesomes from last year's SDCC is in the Funko Treasures section on Gemini but it is holding steady at about $40, which is a little more than I want to pay for it. This gives me a little bit of hope.

It looks like we're doing our Pop Culture month again. Awesome! As soon as I get more info, I'll try to share with everyone. We'll probably see the brochures in store soon and I think last year it listed everything you could get.

Malcolm Merlyn
Burning Walker
Zombie Barbosa
And

I'm hoping that all the things the bf and I want aren't numbered and we could just go to HT and B&N and pick them up rather than trying for tickets. That said, I REALLY want Hatbox ghost but I'm worried even if we did camp out and get a voucher he would still be sold out by the time I got in the Funko booth.
Hello funatics, I'm Alana and I love collecting dragon pops.

Waiting impatiently for Wave 6.
I hope that there are, and are not Pops I want, haha.
I also hope any of the ones I want are in store Pops and not at the con or online. :D
