Same! I work in the package design industry so that adds another level of "want" when I see stuff like this. But yes, I really enjoy it when they do something so unique.

Just as an example, for the HQ Opening the people that got the prime 10:00 time slot all had well over 100 posts. The people that got the 11:00 slot (which was still a really good time slot) had much less, some even had less than 50 posts. So you don't have to be super active to still get benefits, but the more active the better the chance of preferential treatment. That said, the people that post the most pretty clearly do it because of their love of collecting, not because they're hoping for freebies

Gotcha. I do really like that those spots are saved for people who really do collect and enjoy the community. I was at SDCC this year, and the amount of people in it for the profit was astounding.

This year Funko extended an early invitation to Funatics in good standing, so it ended up being quite easy. Same with HQ tickets. It pays to be an active Funatic!

Out of curiousity, what does "in good standing" mean?

It means people who post because they want to participate rather than just posting to get their post count up. Funko usually attaches a minimum stipulation to their offers, so you have to have a certain minimum number of posts and a certain amount of time as a member here. But they do stipulate that they don't just want people posting mindless junk simply to get their post count up so they can take advantage of those offers.

How are people already getting these ?

Not as many that I'm interested in this time around, but definitely more than last year (which was just Kitty Pride).

I think this year I will try to pick up the Dragonzord, 1st Doctor and probably Bogart. I am on the fence about Sailor V and the Buffy set. They are cool, but probably not essential for my collection. I will probably end up impulse buying them when I get to the store

Same here...and THIS is why I groaned VERY loudly when I discovered ReedPop was involved with these lotteries this year. The company I work for had an event they organized and putting aside my Comic Con experiences they did a TERRIBLE job. No idea why they felt the need to undertake this but I don't trust them.

Really digging the idea of a MM or PSH in the lunchbox just like a Happy Meal Prize. That would complete the nostalgic/throwback element of the product. And you're right, I would also def want more than one of the same, haha.
