once upon a time Funko created ........

The grandfather to the Pops, the Nodnik line. This line was replaced by Funko force which was replaced by Funko force 2.0 which was renamed Funko Pop.

There were two of these Thor and Hulk two packs made. I have them both.

There was one Punisher made. I have it.

there was one Thing made. I have it.

Some protos including two Thors.

some protos including Huckleberry Hound and Captain America.

Wolverine proto only two made. I have one. The piece was never produced.

all these pieces with the exception of the Wolverine were acquired from Todd. I was able to purchase these rare sets plus all his protos. Thanks to Todd and Price and thanks to everyone else who has helped me in my Nodnik quest.

I am very thankful brother bear was kind enough to hook me up with an iron man nodnik proto when that was the only proto I didn't own.

I'm just glad Lamps evolved from Nodniks.. my Iron man lamp may very well be my absolute favorite piece of Funko I own. Just wish it didn't require such an odd ball bulb.

I was quite happy to track one down recently. Still looking for the 501st Trooper lamp though.

The War Machine used to be in my car and when I drive it would "nod", but not anymore since I don't have a car!!!

You have such a great collection, Bear. Seeing so many rare protos and toys that were never even released in one place is almost overwhelming. Thanks for explaining some of the history, too.

Do you have a thread or post that shows off more of your collection as a whole? I've only been catching some photos here and there; a collective of everything you have would be eye candy for sure.

Just bought some Nodniks myself to start a new collection! My first non-pop Funko pieces besides a Wobbler set I have on the way as well

these are really cool figures and your collection of them is great! The Thor Hulk set is really cool
