I’m disappointed too, but there’s still hope for an NYCC HoTD exclusive! It looks like Funko went with more evergreen properties for SDCC, cause The Acolyte and The Boys are out now but no SDCC exclusives for them either. Still waiting on them to release a standalone Rhaenyra with her crown and a standalone Rhaenys!!

Following the Season 2 finale, Funko finally announced another wave of HoTD Pops — Rhaenyra, Jacaerys, and Baela!

I love to see Funko release new characters (especially in standard 4” form), but since they’ve made Aemond, Jace, and Baela I am puzzled by the absence of Aegon, Helaena, and Rhaena. We have a long wait before Season 3 :smt010

, so I’m gonna hope they’re coming eventually, along with a standard Pop of Rhaenys and my most wanted of all — Rhaenyra wearing her crown!

I actually really like that Funko isn't overwhelming us with too many Pops in this line, but it's also hard not to be impatient for characters to be made (Aegon being an obvious one), especially since they made another Alicent, Daemon, Criston, and Rhaenyra for Season 2. Would also love to see the new dragons get made! Caraxes and Vhagar didn't release until the year after Season 1 came out, so hopefully more are to come in 2025!

In the span of a few weeks, Funko announced 7 new HoTD Pops! Some repeat characters in new outfits (Daemon x2, Rhaenyra, Alicent), and some new characters (Vermax, Mysaria, Alys).

Personally, I’m all for new characters being made — Mysaria and Vermax (wish it was a regular size Pop to match the other dragons .. or that they had made all the dragons larger to begin with) are my favorites. But strange that Funko’s made this many HoTD Pops but we’re still waiting on an Aegon and Helaena (and a standalone Rhaenys).

I think the Alicent and armored Daemon look unique, but if they wanna keep making the same characters I really wish Funko would release a standalone Rhaenyra wearing her crown
