I don’t think there will be any Hikari Sdcc announcements. It’ll be great for the Funatics that collects them to get maybe one good piece this year, but we’ve gotten a ton of releases and I think they’re almost finished so it’s looking grim.

We are now at the home-stretch of the reveals, and I don't think we get to see a Hikari exclusive this year.

Even Dorbz didn't get any love so far (but am still hopeful with having at least one though.). [-o<

I think it’s slowly gaining some popularity again, but then again, I believe it will stay as Funko Shop Exclusives at the very minimum moving forward.

We haven't had a Hikari in a while. They look so cool but couldn't justify shelling out $70 each. But I think they should make a comeback.

The mickeys I think we're my last that I picked up as well. Gotta get anything with mickey and those are awesome. Unfortunately the interest in Hikari is not that strong. Personally my favorite line is Wacky wobblers than Hikari than pops. Unfortunately it seems as if my top 2 are done or about to be done. Hopefully they reemerge and comeback even stronger.

As a collector and seller of hikari I am afraid we won't see em at the booth anytime soon...they usually never sold out and I've been going to both NYCC and SDCC for 5 plus years...even the minis suffered the same fate and I can't remember the last time I got a sales email from Funko with hikari...

fair enough...and you know what? I'll make it my business to ask Brian if they could at least do a few small run ones for the conventions...thinking an LE 50 or 100 would be a safe bet...I'd like to see em too

I bugged him about Hikari last year at SDCC. He said the line was not dead but on the back burner to give more resources to higher profile lines. I know it has to be tough to divert resources to Hikari when the ROI on Pops! is so much higher.

Now if you could ask him about what is up with Vynl I would love hear what he has to say... ;-)
