I found out that my brother in law is going to NYCC and wanted to ask him to grab me the foot soldiers from the funko booth. As far as I understand, he had to sign up for a lottery back in September? He can't just walk up and purchase items from them?

I found out that my brother in law is going to NYCC and wanted to ask him to grab me the foot soldiers from the funko booth. As far as I understand, he had to sign up for a lottery back in September? He can't just walk up and purchase items from them?

I believe he would need to get picked in the lottery to purchase from the Funko booth. He can try after all the lottery winners for that day have gone through the booth and try to see if he can get anything.

I do not believe anyone has. They are being listed on Funko's "POP UP SHOP" site. It is just a matter of watching that site and getting what pops up at any given moment.

My B&N had all the NYCC Pops behind the registers. Seemed like a simple solution to prevent running.

Phew!! Managed to get Jaqen & Lyanna from Forbidden Planet. Over an hour of refresh/reload/timeout.

The Balrog had sold out by the time I could get the page to load.

Soo it was my favorite flipper Norman who bought all the Destro Pops yesterday. He also has 15 flocked Beastman, the Thundercats Dorbz (already sold 2), and already sold the Jack Torrance Chase he got at HT for being first in line.

I never thought I could hate someone as much as I hate this guy...

Looks like it was this way, once it was stated that it was 'live'. Going by social media and here. So, I don't think it is sold out, unless I am wrong here? But idk -- this is Walmart. I give up understanding their ways. Lol

That being said, worst case, I do have a regular Green Ranger Pop already. So I won't be that disappointed if I can't get it.

Does anyone know if you have a PayPal authorization for B&N, if that means your order will go thru.

Likely it won't. I spoke with a rep yesterday and she said that only 5% or so of the orders went through. PayPal can take up to 5 business days for a refund to show up. But, this means that a quick restock may occur - just like it did for SDCC on B&N site

Was able to snag everything I wanted except Jaqen. Been hearing a lot of people have been having their orders cancelled by BAM, which makes me nervous he’ll be even harder (and more expensive) to get secondhand.
