NYCC Exclusives 2017

Phew! Got my two (black chrome Batman and 8-Bit Batman). My Gamestop was ridiculously easy again when it comes to nabbing the exclusive I wanted. The lady behind the counter wasn't even aware today was the release day! She got them out only after I asked about them. Meanwhile, the Gamestop less than five minutes away from that one sells out immediately. It's like people don't know this one exists.

My Barnes and Noble got in the chrome Batmen, but by the time I got there after dropping the wife off at work (9:30 - they opened at 9). They were sold out. Luckily the Barnes and Noble twenty minutes away still had six in stock, so I nabbed my one and left the others.

Good day altogether. Now I just need to get that glow-in-the-dark Sinestro Batman!

Hmmmm, I'm not sure. From my understanding it is random but this is my first year going after Exclusives on the Funko site.

On instagram I am following (and turned post notifications on for) @sw_up_wir20 and @funkofinderz. They post links very quickly after they go live. Because of their update, I had Bone Daddy in my Funko cart but ultimately let him go.

Hoping to have the same luck with Speedy (except I'll keep him!)

Yes!!!! Was able to order the Dragonzord from HT moments ago! So, unless they made an error, hopefully no cancelation for me, I did it! Now I will celebrate some more once I get the shipping confirmation. Please don't disappoint me HT. :bounce:

I stopped by my local B&N, HT, and GameStop just now.

B&N was would out of Balrog, but had some of the other exlusives in. What's really funny is that they apparently didn't get any Chrome Batman POPs in.

HT had a fair amount of theirs, but they were sold out of Donald, Scrooge, Goofy, and the Dragonzord. I also heard one of the employees mention that another store's entire stock of Dragonzords was bought out by one person.

GameStop was the last store I visited, a few of their exclusives were still available, but they were low. I also bought their last 8-bit Shredder POP.

Ugh, I didn't think about trying the HBO Shop. I received email notification they had Jaqen H'Ghar but it was sold out when I clicked

Was able to get everything I wanted except for black chrome batman and scrooge, but I can't complain with how busy I am at work and able to get any pops

I wasn't able to get the Balrog or Jaqen. Jaqen went online early and then I just couldn't seem to get him after that. The Balrog was normal B&N server shenanigans and then the stores only had one. ](*,)

Ordered Eleven with Electrodes from Gamestop, it says it will ship tomorrow so we'll see. My wife ordered First Doctor from BAM. Toy Tokyo, as expected, is a complete waste because they are not selling anything to the general public, only giving them out to people already on their list. Good thing I wasn't all that attached to what they had anyhow.

I have a dumb question. The Fall exclusive Bone Daddy is LE 4000. The NYCC exclusive sticker one is also LE 4000. So is the total made LE 8000 made?

We really don't know, I'm sure there have been conspiracies about Funko making twice, maybe even 3 times as many as they say they do, but we've never gotten anything official. That being said, the sticker is just a licensing thing, according to Funko it doesn't mean that there are 2 different stocks, just that the percentage of the 4000 sold outside the con all have a different sticker.

I'm pretty sure they divide an even amount each day at the con and online at Funko shop. So I think it's 4,000 total

I think I saw someone say there was 3400 up on the website. I can't confirm that though. I ultimately decided I didn't need Bone Daddy but I'm still bummed about missing the Cereal Icons ](*,)

I gotta tell you, this black chrome Batman and the 8-Bit Batman are both really awesome in person. The back chrome paint is very impressive and way more reflective than I thought it'd be, and the 8-Bit is such a fun, unique design. Both pop like crazy on the shelf.

Only drawback of the 8-bit, his head doesn't turn, which I think is odd...

ouch, prices on orange bird and mr toad and insane right now. I thought abominable would be the most expensive, I got him for 120 shipped. Really didnt think there would be much interest in orange bird especially, was hoping to grab him for under 100. And was hoping for mr toad for under 80

I checked stock the moment Bone Daddy went live and that number was 3,497. So that tells me 3 people checked out before I got the number.
