Dig Dug seems perfect for 8-bit, I'm still on the fence with the line, but if I dived in, Dig Dug would be a great starting point.

Anyone else wish they would have made a chrome shredder before an 8 bit shredder?

I'll update the OP later tonight - was golfing all day.

And I know some people hate this wave, but it's the perfect wave for me and I'm sure Huse is also on board. The TMNT arcade game was my jam growing up and I bought the TMNT set from NECA last year and it'll look awesome next to it!

Now I just need to somehow get them lol

I feel like Funko cares for me and is finally giving my wallet a break with the NYCC exclusives.

They said 60 exclusives and they've shown us 41 of them. So far, only the First Doctor and the Boba Fett interest me. I know there's at least one more that hasn't been announced yet but seen in one of the retailer's system that's also a must-have.

I must be in the minority here, I love this wave. I didn't think I would be interested in the 8-bit line until I saw the foot soldier Pops. I think the color way foot soldiers look great!

I think this wave was well done for what they wanted to portray. Dig dug in the 8 bit form is everything though! Not a wave I am fond of but not one I hate! Well done funko for catering to the nostalgic kid in majority of us!

as someone who collects mainly video game pops, that is fairly disappointing. This could have been a good opportunity for a horizon zero dawn pop(where dat thunderjaw), TF2(one of the missing classes) or Portal pop(6 inch glados would have been amazing). Basically anything besides these lol

. I feel like Dig Dug and the FNAF ones are the only ones that truly belong in a video game wave.

But I have enough on my plate with that park stuff in the disney wave lol

. Those are gonna be killer to get.

The video game wave is a massive disappointment to me. Easily the worst reveals so far. It's almost like something they would use as an April Fool's Day joke. Having that many variants of one Pop is ridiculous, especially all at once. The 8-bit line is one I'm avoiding like the plague, so money saved. The TV Pop is bizarrely interesting, but is a pass, since I have no interest in that franchise.

I hope the Marvel wave is next. I'm anxious and excited to see what might be in that.

tbh, the 8-bit line is kinda like reducing the quality of a good image.

It just doesn't work imo (well except for the characters who were already 8-bit. Dig Dug looks pretty spot on)

I'm also not feeling the 8-bit look. I get it, I just don't like it in pop form so far. My opinion may change after seeing them in person, but I doubt it.

To be honest, NYCC has been pretty disappointing so far. The Disney wave is my favorite so far. There are definitely pops I'll be buying, but very little has screamed "must have" to me. That's good though because I really do need to slow down and reassess my collection.

Now, the marvel wave could completely blow the above out of the water...

I think this 8-bit style is starting to grow on me. Especially the TMNT ones since I played a ton of TMNT games on the SNES and at the arcade. I think I'm starting to show my age now....

Already did, and honestly the crash and mortal kombat waves were better than yesterday's reveal, unpopular opinion I know lol

Surely everyone played TMNT on 16-bit consoles not 8-bit.(or the arcade)
