NYCC Exclusives 2017

Ok, I was pretty excited about Faith yesterday, but that Scrooge is officially my first NYCC must have!

The Mr. Toad Ride is killing me. Why couldn't this have been at SDCC?

And why in the hell is Orange Bird flocked? Last I checked, a hairy/fuzzy orange is not desirable.

Now those Disney pops hit home. Love the Scrooge McDuck. Makes me glad I canceled my pre-order of the common one. Hopefully I can get this because it is shared. Love the kingdom hearts goofy and donald. I am loving the mr toads wild ride, but looks like Ebay for that one. It would go great with my Mr. Toad from SDCC 2016.

Man the mickey mini hikaris is so tempting but pre-ordered the red and blue common ones, so i will have to hold off on those just to save my wallet. I also got snowman off Ebay from Disneyland exclusive, so I will have to pass on flocked.

I am scared for my wallet.

Pretty much expected that there would be a flocked version of the Snowman and Orange Bird. The Black Hole though was in left field.

Super left field. Most Disney fans don't even know what it is. If they're willing to make figures for this film, then there's no reason why we shouldn't get the obscure (although less obscure than these) ones we've been asking for forever.

Maybe Mr. Toads wild ride will settle lower than that. Mr. Toad from SDCC 2016 was a bit lower than that.

I think convention exclusives are better for the obscure stuff. But that's just my opinion. It makes sense because there is less numbers to make and less risk to have overstock. Won't have to compete with the more popular stuff for shelf space at regular retail.

The only downfall is yes... this is an exclusive and less numbers than commons so the die-hard fans will have a tougher go at getting one.

This Disney wave got me sooo hyped!! Love that Scrooge and the KH pieces! So glad they look like to be shared. And based on the stixkers the only limited super must haves for me are Mr. Toad and the Mickey Hikaris.

Yeah loving the shared of them. Good thing I am not in it for the money. There is a common Micky Hikaris in red and black that can be pre-ordered at Entertainment Earth because the NYCC ones are going to cost some money. I prefer the black and red anyways. I wish they did a yellow one by itself cause then you would have black for the top, red for the bottoms, and yellow for shoes.

I wouldn't really consider The Black Hole obscure. It was rather infamous at the time for being Disney's bad attempt to capitalize on Star Wars. More people knew of it than had actually seen it. Making fun of it was the closest thing you had to a meme in the early 80s.

As of right now, I am extremely content with the NYCC releases thus far. I only need a few to complete some lines. But they all look so nice!
