So amazing and awesome that Funko won and Brian is so giving towards the fans/funatics. I voted so I'm so excited to see if I get one of these Freddy's. I wonder though how they can see who did vote? Congrats again Brian and the whole Funko Team! Such an amazing company!!!

Such an awesome gesture and definitely a huge reason I love Funko!! I love Funko because of the community!! All the OG collectors and the OG Funatics are awesome as well as the newcomers and everyone in between. The community is amazing to be a part of. And despite the "flippers" the community still finds a way to continue to be positive and helpful! Just amazing!! Thank you Funko, Brian Mariotti, Mike Becker, everyone behind the scenes at Funko and thank you to everyone in the community for building such a cool place to be a part of. :freddy3:

It definitely sounds like there is a way, and that tracing/identification is possible. Brian wouldn't have offered the gift that way if it hadn't already been determined that it was feasible. Guess identification was a way to determine if votes were legitimate. Regardless, I say don't look a gift horse in the mouth; and like everyone else, I'm saying "Thank you, Funko!" for noticing that people made a purposeful effort to make a difference. So much is taken for granted these days...it's really nice when someone (a company and its' employees, no less) says "Thank you...we appreciate you too!" As far as I'm concerned, this whole Funko picture is spectacular. I'm looking forward to bright, exciting future

Wow, blown away by their generosity! I know I definitely voted Pops (because I felt it had a better chance than dorbz even though I love dorbz) but it was so long ago that I don't recall entering an email or anything. I guess we must've done that otherwise we could've voted multiple times, right?

I honestly can't recall if I voted so we'll see I guess. Very cool either way and I can't wait to see what it looks like.

This will actually be an interesting sociological case study. Let's see how many of these get put up for sale on Ebay. If you voted for Funko, you get one, which should mean that you would want it, right?

Can't wait to hear more and see how this plays out! :happy1:

Also good on those that follow throughd on the voting... now I regret not finishing my vote... I was on the voting page and then gave up cause there was so many tabs and catagories and I didn't know where to look! Gah...lesson learned on my end for sure. ](*,)

The vote was not influenced at all. No one had any idea that Funko would do this. So I don't see any issues for this year....
But next year may have some people hoping/expecting them to do the same thing and that could affect the votes. But if nothing is discussed or offered before the vote, then they would be fine.
Funko might actually have to state that there will be no gift for anyone next year in order to guarantee there would not be votes just for a gift.

Soo does anybody else think this could be a digital Freddy? Some of us were talking and while it would be amazing to get a Freddy POP it doesn't seem fiscally likely.

That possibility did cross my mind, but towards the end of the video, he said "we're going to ship it to you for free." I don't think he would have mentioned shipping if this was simply a digital item.

Pretty sure we at least gave our email. That alone would provide a link :-$

And 'buyin' votes' my petunias! No one knew they would be doing this--even though this is a well-known fan-friendly company. If there's any concern about the effect for next year...you know what? Other companies are welcome to treat their fans/customers equally as well too. Set up forums and ventures that CEO's and others actively participate in; respond to what fans say they want. That would solve that. Otherwise, at least one of the awards was a fan-favorite vote. In the end, this is precisely why they won--because this company is a fan favorite. It's stuff like this that contributes to making this company so popular--raffles, responsiveness, recognition. (now I'll step off my soap box).

I don't think it will be a digital freddy, in the video Brian did mention that Funko would cover the shipping expense as well. If they went with a digital freddy, one would think that they would avoid shipping altogether and just send it via email.

Brian and Funko never cease to amaze me with how much they support the Funatics. What a great gesture. I am in the camp of people that are pretty sure I voted, but don't recall and couldn't find a confirmation in my inbox. Regardless if I get one or not, I look forward to seeing what they look like once they start to trickle in.

I was also thinking of those hologram stickers that were popular back in the 80s or 90s. They were always printed on something that looked like foil and the image looked 3D when you moved it around. So maybe a foil and shimmer effect is a possibility as well?

I voted as a small payback to Brian and Funko for making my family feel like we are part of the Funko family. There is no company like Funko and there is no family like the Funko Funatic Family.
