I've never ordered anything online from B&N but I have reserved items for in store pickup. If you have access I think that's the better way based on what I've read in this thread. I've never had any issue reserving for pickup...

Adding to the list of people that had their orders cancelled.
I ordered early morning on July 9th as well.
What irritates me is after escalating to third tier management the lady simply told me to complain to the manufacturer to make more.

If this is how Barnes & Noble show their consideration for being granted exclusives to sell, maybe Brian and the team would like to reconsider the affiliation.
Yes I am in Canada and it would have been difficult for me to get to a store; but had i known even 2 weeks earlier that B&N would be so incompetent with fulfilling their orders, I would have gladly made the trek (across 50 states if I had to).
Disappointed, not impressed, and still in need of flocked snuffy and k3p0.

Seems like the emails are being sent out. Two buddies of mine got the dreaded cancel as well. They called in and were able to get gift cards by saying how much more expensive they are being sold now. I was able to get a $20 gift card for a canceled Snuffleupagus.

Tried this on the phone and no go

I'm not going to stress over this anymore. I have a Dalek on the way from PC, I was just hoping to get the gift card to buy more pops

Sorry to hear about your experience. Did you talk with a manager and not just the initial representative? The only way I got the offer was through the manager who was fully aware of this debacle.

After my LENGTHY email to them today I recieved a $5 EGift Card and a 20% off one item coupon code. At least it was something

the only positive for me is that, I ordered K-3PO, Dalek Sec and Jelly Baby 4th Doctor, the Doctor shipped alone a couple weeks before the cancellation of the others - meaning it was shipped for free.

Now, I wonder how long it'll take before B&N reimburses me for the 2 they cancelled since I paid with PayPal.

The In store Pickup option online was super helpful! I was just able to find both Unmasked Captain and K3PO at two different stores within 20 minutes of each other. Both have them on hold for me! This is great because I was there at opening for SDCC, and the 2 people in front of me grabbed the whole stock of those two and I got nothing! So stoked!

Yesterday I found Unmasked Cap back in stock at my B&N. They were sitting on a shelf in the Pop section with the regular Marvel Pops.

Thanks for the heads up! I looked up online and there he was (unmasked Captain America)! I chose to Reserve in Store and they had one! (i didn't wanna pay the shipping from online) so my fiancee is gonna pick it up after work. I can't wait!

I wouldn't recommend reserve in store. They put rubber bands around the item with the paperwork and toss them on the hold shelf. If you are a OOB collector and don't care about the box, it may be okay.

I agree with you I already have a Unmasked Captain America that I reserved and picked in store the box wasn't great but I purchased it anyways. I just ordered one for that reason when the new one comes in I'll just return the dinged up one.

I'm an out of the box collector so I'll be good. The only thing that matters to me is the paint job but I'm sure everything will be fine

The Mrs. picked him up and he looks great! I had a theory of why they all started showing up again and it was because alot of people returned their's cause of the box condition. I'm glad i was right! The box for Capn American was pretty rough but it makes no difference to me. The paint job on him is excellent. He was the last one at the location i reserved him from. Now i finally have all the SDCC exclusives i wanted!
Thanks to all the peeps on here for giving a heads up. i almost gave up on him!

K-3PO is B&N exclusive or not? Some on eBay have stickers, some don't...

I have had a K3PO on backorder since 7/10. I sent them an email asking them why they have put it back up to order before filling my backorder. I hope to get it shipped soon.
