MLP Vinyl Discussion (Funko please bring back the Vinyls!)

I would agree with them maybe trying to give us something better as opposed to nothing, but Funko has so many licenses they can use and skipping a pony exclusive for one year won't hurt them, especially with how poorly the ones from last year sold. I can imagine they didn't want to risk another flop, so they focused on other characters and lines.

Hopefully they at least know that we don't want recolors of characters. For instance, blue Discord was on shelves in my area for the longest time...they may actually still be there at a discount, too.

Regular vinyls and their glitter counterparts sell well, stick to that and if you want to do a recolor, wow us with it.

Yeah, they really did a LOT this year- this is the first year I'm aware of where they did a lot of re-poses and truly DIFFERENT characters instead of just recolors or glow in the dark. Pretty impressive. I wish MLP had made the cut but obviously they couldn't do every license, they do sooooooo many....

I love that Funko is doing so well this year, seems like everywhere I go (Bartels, Bookstore, airport) I see Funkos tempting me- plenty of stuff I didn't even knew that they had made. I hope they keep it up (and I hope they do Steven Universe next!!!)

Yes yes yes to Steven Universe! And Gravity Falls! And, perhaps my two biggest Funko wants, Sailor Moon and One Piece Pop figures! [-o<

Oh my gosh, my house is going to be overrun with Funko items now that I'll finally have the room to get everything I've been wanting...

I'm actually moving the Funko ponies over to the house today, and hopefully by next week I can dig out those extra boxes that people were interested in.

Yes to Gravity Falls from me as well!!! That show's hiatus is killing me, although at least I have MLP.

So the money I would have spent on Funko MLP at SDCC instead got used towards some of the new Hasbro Sweet Apple Acres blindbag stuff - I got the barn, the Apple Fritter figure and the AJ w. Cider stand.

Also, after this morning's Amending Fences episode, count me in the Funko must make Minuette campaign as well. I very much liked the characterization of her and it's like she's a toned down version of Pinkie but also the leader and most outspoken one of the Minuette/Twinkleshine/Lemon Hearts group of friends.

I bought the barn and Flam while I was at the MLP Fair last weekend, and today I grabbed Flim and the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, Applejack in the bucking pose with trees and apples and Applejack sleeping in her bed. I absolutely LOVE these sets. I even spoke with the two Hasbro reps at the Fair and told them that I'd love to see more sets like these based around the other places in Equestria.

I imagine we may hear more about the Funko CMC figures after SDCC this week-- it's this week, right?

So, let's see, Moondancer was just a recolor of Twilight Sparkle, Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine were recolors of each other, and Minuette and Lyra are similiar... I want Funko figures of all of them!

I don't think we are going to see the CMC until they get there cutie marks on the show.

I noticed the same thing with Moondancer and Co., these are perfect for repaints and exclusives...even if we can only get one(Moondancer) :-"

Should be way before that, we are only on wave 2/4 for this year. They will probably release them without cutie marks first and then probably re-release them with cutie mark variants.

Yes, SDCC is right now. I'm there in fact and am facing a tough pony related decision for Friday. Autograph tickets for voice talent from the show ( I'm guessing Tara Strong, Andrea Libman at the very least) will be distributed by Hasbro 30 minutes prior to the start of the panel for the show so if I line up early for that panel, I will have missed out on the chance for autographs. However, if I go for the autograph tickets, there's absolutely no guarantee I'd be able to make it into the panel...

Hey guys, I don't follow MLP but I got a mini prototype at Fundays this weekend. I asked friends who know more about the show than I do, and they said it appears to be Queen Chrysalis.

Don't know if this is helpful at all or if this was already known about

You can even see the ribs on the underside. What ana wesome vinyl. Funko really outdid themselves on this one. I don't think I could be more impressed!! Glad this one is finally revealed

Can't wait to see the rest! surprised Funko revealed these ones this early in the game. I think this one is supposed to be the last wave of 2015.
