Barnes and Nobles Comic Con Exclusives

Called my local store and she said that they're selling 1 item per customer regardless of what you get. This is to stop those from buying everything of the limited items. Apparently this store had this issue last year. Bummer since this is my first time going. Trying to see if I could find someone to come with me.

North Haven's my closest store but it's still a 30 minute drive. Hopefully I can just get the Black Dalek online or something.

One per person stinks but who's to stop someone and 10 of their friends from buying out everything. :c

1 per person? guess we'd all better decide what our priorities are now. probably going with the Dalek myself, I think the others will be easier to come by after the fact. plus I know K-3PO can be had elsewhere already.

i wonder if they are limiting online orders as well

My B&N said I should be able to get whatever I want. Of course, I don't think she even had the slightest idea of what I was talking about. I may end up just going to B&N myself with my brother, and then trying the HT inside the mall instead of the one I like going to. Maybe I can get there in time to catch everything I need. I really hope everyone is able to get what they want! I know I need at least 3 from B&N...

So last year, you were allowed 1 of each item. I believe that's what they are doing this year

^It looks like one of my local stores doesn't have this on the calendar of events. I wonder if they just didn't update it or the store isn't doing it.

There's only one store close to me that had the Comic Con Exclusives listing... the rest just had the DC thing. :/ That store's even farther away, like 45 minutes or longer in morning traffic.

Just got off the phone with my B&N, I was asking if it'd be possible if they could hold Unmasked Cap for me until I got there tomorrow.
The woman said the item wasn't even in their system. I'm calling again before I head up there tomorrow. I'm not driving nearly an hour for nothing. If I dont get Cap I'm going to be really, really, disappointed.

I got an email from B&N that said they will have 12 exclusive collectibles from funko, titan and diamond toys, but the leaked list is already 12 funko items. Do y'all think the 12 isn't including the 3 rumored B&N exclusives? and for the person who said it was just one item total, that is not what they did last year. It was one of each item per person. Some employees just misinterpret what the 1 item thing means.

Good thing that HT and B&N don't do any Black Friday exclusives.

I am actually off of work tomorrow but I am expecting a furntore delivery anywhere from 9am-1pm tomorrow. Hopefully not too late, its another hour drive. Hoping to snag a few things, I missed out on 75% of what I wanted last year.

ok, i just got off of the phone with my local B&N and the worker looked at the book they were given and she said it says "one collectible UPC per person" and clarified with the manager that it is limited to one of each figure per customer! good and bad news... if you get there early, you can get each one you want.... bad... everyone else before you can do the same... haha. happy hunting everyone, and may the odds be ever in your favor (unless you're in Hawaii.... then.... stay home until after B&N opens ;p) haha

Just gonna copy what I wrote in the eye on the web section:

Be careful guys I kept retrying because the site was saying my session timed out and then I noticed I had been charged 3 times on my credit card and the order showed up 3 times on my account.

To make it worse, the site keeps erroring when trying to cancel. I had to cancel item by item and try a few times each.

I actually just went online and chose the "Reserve-store pickup" option. I don't know if they'll actually hold what I want but generally when I do that because I'm working or whatever, I get a confirmation email saying they'll hold the item for 3 days before returning it to the shelf. Again.....being an exclusive, I don't expect them to hold it, but if they do, then I expect to be able to get mine this afternoon.

Guys on the homepage go to the comic convention link and you can buy them from there, the search bar is down right now, I was able to get the blacked out antman and unmasked cap, limit 1 per customer though, I was going to be greedy and try to get more but don't want to push my luck. So happy didn't have to go on a hunt!

Yea mine duplicated twice, but I was able to get in to one order and cancel the 3 items (Blackout Ant-Man, Cap Unmasked, and K-3PO) individually. Haven't had the confirmation through for the order that is sitting there as 'Processing' though.....

Thank goodness for PayPal! Got all the way to the end, hit Checkout, and it said my session had expired. Checked my PayPal account and saw I was charged. Now to see if the order actually went through on B&N's end. I don't want to go through again and have it charged twice. Hmmm.
