Emperor Palpatine Skin Color?

Can anyone tell me what's up with the one in the right? Is it a variant or just a new color scheme?

Younger, more naive but reckless Emperor. Alongside older, wiser, meaner grumpier Emperor.

The right one looks like a mistake...if that is the new paint scheme, that's a bad call.

The one on the left looks more authentic to me.

I got an Emperor yesterday and it is the is the same color is the one on the right. Got it from EE.

Is it an error or has the production changed to be the new skin colour?

The one on the right is the new version of the emperor. You should be able to find him in stores that still stock him.

As said by someone else before "he was younger". LOL

This change of skin color looks like a variant IMO (even though I know it isn't).

I was just about to ask this question, and I'm glad someone already has. This literally doesn't make any sense though, because it can't be a chase or even a mistake, since the B&N I work at have two of each.

It's as if Funko couldn't make up their minds on the color, so they just made both...?

Actually I asked Reis about this back in March, he stated that in the middle of the run, LucasFilms decided they wanted a more fleshing toned one so they changed his color. You can find both but it seems its equal amounts of either one. But yeah its not Funko but Lucas that decided on the color change. :) 22584

I cant find the Emperor in stores anymore, so my chances of finding one are slim. If they ever get more stock, I'll be checking them out.
