Funko Licenses Not In Pop Form

Postby batlash86 » Sat Apr 18, 2015 9:03 pm

There seems to be a few licenses that funko has that they have made in their other lines but not in the pop line. The ones that I can think of are The Terminator, Escape From New York, Taxi Driver, Fight Club, and Jaws. Does anyone know why these haven't been made in pop form yet and are there any other licenses that I forgot?

Clearly there's no need for Jaws pop when we have sharknado pop.

I would get a terminator one, but they seem to be saving that for Reaction... I would also get Napoleon Dynamite, but not sure if they are saving that for Vinyl Idols.

But there is need for Quint, Chief Brody, and Hooper.

and the Orca as a Pop Ride

Edit: also, I don't care how many sharks are in the sharknado, Jaws beats them all.

Do they have Galaxy Quest? I'd definitely buy a couple of Galaxy Quest Pops.

Mortal Kombat. It would make sense to do some now that MKX is the best selling of the series. And I wont rest my case until it happens..

Saw they apparently have the Iron Giant as a mini for wave 2...I would be a fan of that as a solo pop.

Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure the Iron Giant Pop was my turning point from casual fan of Funko to devoted collector of them. Such a gorgeous and unique collectible for such a tragically underrated film. That was the toy that put Funko high on my radar.

Also, to answer someone's question above, during the 12 Days of Christmas thing, I believe Brian said that, yes, Galaxy Quest Pops were coming. I know this because Galaxy Quest is another brilliant, yet underrated, flick. And I may or may not be far more excited than any other 25-year-old man alive should be for Galaxy Quest toys.

ALSO also, to finally answer this thread's question, I'm still baffled/infuriated that they made an Invisible Man ReAction figure, but refused to make a Pop...
