Notable Omissions

Another member posed the question of why a main character was left out of their respective line up which got me thinking, 'What main characters have been forgotten in their lines'?

I can think of a few to get things started:

- Tygra from Thundercats (one of the four main heroes)
- Lisa & Maggie from the Simpsons (Maggie should have been included with Marge like Chip was with Mrs Pots)
- Disney's Aladdin (From the ALADDIN line!)
- Yellow, Blue, Black and Green rangers (Power Rangers)
- Bobby (Supernatural)

Upcoming sets too...
- Family Guy has two Stewies out of 4 places? Would have loved a Lois, Quagmire, Joe, Cleveland...
- Futurama; I'd have preferred a Professor Farnsworth or Zoidberg to the Robot Devil

Sound off if anyone has any others! (someone at Funko might just be listening!)

I agree with the series you listed particularly Futurama. Would have preferred Zoidberg or Farnsworth compared to robot devil.

Walking Dead can always go back to the well.

Family Guy is going to be around for awhile, I imagine.

Tygra, Lisa and Maggie are good examples.

I'd have loved to have seen Goonies continue with a Fratellis 3 pack and the other three kids.

Much like the Reactions line, and the Mezco line, no one seems to want more than Sloth and the main four boys.

Rosita, Abraham, Eugene and Walker Sophia for TWD. I suppose Shane is an omission, but I'm not a huge fan.

Game of thrones:
Big ones are Margaery, Reek, Ramsey, Gilly, Davos, melisandre, Jorah, Bran, Jojen, Jeor. Now that I think, countless really. The first three I ment are my top three though.

For the upcoming Friends:
Normal Monica- not a fan of the chefs outfit. It would also be cool to see all three gals in wedding dresses.
Mike, Carol, Jack, Judy, David and mostly Gunther!

Doctor Who:
I'm not really going to get these, except for 11th doctor stuff:
So we need: The Wife, The Waiter and The Centurion. (sp?) Not a fan of Clara, big fan of those 3.

Heroes:
The Birds of Prey.

Marvel- X-Men
Only marvel characters I'm really into. I hope for Kitty Pryde, Northstar, Aurora, Pixie, and The Stepford Cuckoos

That's it really.

Lines I hope get made:
Battle Royale (TV). Manga is not as good with characters outfits personally.
Sherlock. Lestrade and Mycroft please. Doctor Who line gives me hope for this.
Hunger Games. NECA has these rights which makes it hard, but they have up HP, didn't they?

Tygra is my favorite Thundercat, so I'm confused about this as well. Also, the Blue, Black, Yellow, and Green Power Rangers. Either you do the entire set or none at all in my opinion.

The power rangers one confuses me to no end.
I see two 'tiers' being that Red was the leader, and Tommy (in white or green) was pretty 'unique' but I see no definition between the remaining Rangers (pink, black, blue and yellow). They were all 'second tier' in my book and none of those four was more or less deserving of a Pop.

Plus as a set they would look bad a**, with two or three... Meh :dontknow:

You can see a new trend with reusing body molds as much as possible. Unmasked variants used to be exclusives, now they're part of the standard line. Out of the 7 Arrow figures, you have 4 variations of Green Arrows, 2 Deathstrokes and a Canary. I'm almost surprised there isn't an unmasked Canary. No Arsenal, no Felicity, but 3 Olivers. The same problem with The Flash figures. Not thrilled!

I think Aladdin is the biggest omission so far. There are 4 pops from a movie called Aladdin but not the title character. And I would really want a Gaston.

Also, I don't know why there aren't more secondary Superman characters considering all the Batman characters. Where is Lois? Where is Supergirl? Where is Jimmy Olsen? Where is Lex Luthor? And why don't we have a Clark Kent?

How about any of the DALMATIANS from 101 Dalmatians? Kind of odd to me that none of them get a Pop! but the evil lady who tries to kill them does... heh.

I agree with Aladdin, too. He definitely deserves one.

And I would have liked Eddie Valiant from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I think the issue with Futurama and Family Guy is too early to really complain about. They still have room for a 2nd series. I would like an Aladdin Pop for the Aladdin set. Overall, I'm happy with all the incredible Funko items coming out in 2015 and beyond. Those Mopeez were a surprise and extremely cute.

The only notable omissions for me (a Disney collector) have been Aladdin and Hans. I mean, almost every other main character from Aladdin has been released--except for the title character! What in the world. And we're going to get 2-5 renditions of Elsa, Anna, and Olaf before one of Hans? Besides that, I think they've picked the best characters to release first for their other movies, since I know they'll get around to the rest.

Walking Dead: Shane. Was a pretty big character. However, Funko can always go back and make him instead of another wave of zombies that appear for a minute on screen.

Aladdin: Aladdin. Yea....

TMNT: Casey Jones and Krang. Wave 3?

Family Guy/ Futurama: I'm sure more will be added. There's tons of them in wobbler form.

Watchmen: Comedian, Ozymandias, Silk Spectre, Nite Owl.

DC: We'll get more people.

Marvel: See DC (Daredevil is my most wanted Marvel POP though)

Firefly: Don't know the names, but they need the rest of the crew.

Sooooo wish the Watchmen series included more characters. The ones you mentioned would have been awesome. It's the only Pop series I collected that wasn't Nightmare Before Christmas/Horror related.
