Sci-Fi Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Only interested in Predator (any), Alien, blue/red mutant thing, ET, and Mars Attacks. This looks like a nicely done series.

I'm not a huge Sci-Fi fan, but these minis look fantastic. I am, however, drooling over the Mal and Jayne ones. I love Mal's action pose (and hair)!

I am looking forward to collecting these. But I am little bummed out that Neo from The Matrix is not being included as it was originally shown in the character design sheet.

Has anyone ever done a group buy before? Like one person buys a case with commitments from people to parse out who wants and gets what?

The 1/72 rarity for unique characters completely kills my interest in collecting these.

I was thinking the same thing since it seems like people want the certain figures it be easy to something like if you want xyz from the set I want abc and someone else want lmn we could get the case a divided it up only down side is someone might see it as being a rip off if they get all commons but some one gets the chase ones

I'm crushed that Rocketeer is 1/72 but this is a really great set of figures. Picked up a Predator, Dredd, and Robby at Salt Lake Comic Con last week and they're extremely detailed and surprisingly heavy.

How do they compare to earlier figures (if you have any). I thought Guardians felt were bigger than the First Marvel release, and GOT were bigger than Horror and Big Bang.

How this works?
9...1/12, s, 2 ...1/24 and one chase?

These are out, a vendor at Monsterpalooza was selling them this weekend. What in the world is wrong with BigBadToyStore having these listed as November? Also, BBTS still hasnt gotten in the reactions that all the other stores already have. Anyone know what gives?

Dredd is a little bit taller and bulkier than Ash from the Horror series. The Sci Fi figures are more posed than other series so they take up more room with arms and such.

I have a Spock coming courtesy of Ebay. I'm hoping there's more to them than previous lines. If they're scaled to the Game of Thrones line, I would be most happy.

I hope these do well, enough to spin off a Trek line or even a second series with Battlestar Galactica and some other classic Sci Fi properties. I'd say Star Wars, but that's got to be a given.

Saw that. I'm waiting on Spock before jumping in a couple more. I'd like to find somewhere near me that carries them so I can go and pick the same two figures over and over and over again. lol

I figure I'll wait until Rocketeer pricing gets realistic. They've only been out for a couple days.

I just got in 1:72 Wall-E and 1:144 Belle from the Disney series 2 wave for $10/each off flea-bay, so waiting definitely helps.
But man was it hard to wait!

Got Spock in today. They are larger than the Walking Dead and Horror. Not by much, but a little. About the same height as GOT.

I'm very happy right now.

The prices on ebay are always ridiculous when they first come out. I remember when Jaime was going for $100+

Just went the lazy route and bought the three chases I wanted most...will probably buy a few blind boxes as well, but at least now I won't have to chase the three following rares because I got them pretty cheap:
The Rocketeer: $25
Mars Attacks! Alien: $25
Clear (cloaked) Predator: $15

I think those are good prices if the rarities are really 1/72, 1/72 and 1/36.
If not, my bad!

I still want a handful of others from this line, but didn't want a case because there were at least 6 I had absolutely no interest in, especially the Firefly characters. I do want the Lost in Space robot, Judge Dredd, Robocop and ET for sure.
