I'm still missing one from the NBC set, but I know someone who's going to be trying very hard to collect all of these. Wishing her luck

Do the mini globes have different rarities or are they all the same ratio? I was wondering if you got a full case of 12 if you got 1 of each or not.

No offense to those who are excited about this, but this is just lazy on Funko's part. They haven't even scratched the surface on the characters they haven't done for the original Mini line and they're coming up with this?

Curious if they have two different scenes on each side of the base like the Nightmare Before Christmas ones. I'll probably buy 2 either way.

Comes down to licensing, if they have it, they will make more until it proves that it doesn't sell, then they will expand, especially now with covid they have to make things that will make them lots of money with no new cost

Exactly, licensing plays a big part of it. Could be locked into making x product, y product, z product before going new characters or products.

Going to try my luck and buy a case, hopefully these are all the same ratio. Would love to have the set lined up over the fireplace for Christmas

”Lots of money” is a bit ambitious when you’re talking about rehashes of the same thing. These are going to end up at the clearance rack in short order.Dsho333 wrote:highlanderfil wrote:No offense to those who are excited about this, but this is just lazy on Funko's part. They have the license for the entire HP line. I refuse to believe they’re locked in to making 46482 Harrys before they can make 1 Mrs. Weasley.

Licensing doesn't work like that, you have to license every character, $5k to $7k isn't a small number when you don't know how many variants you might end up making, if only 1 that's bad, 10s that's good

They certainly must have paid those fees for the Patil twins, Karkaroff, Tonks and now Molly Weasley (to name a few). Plenty to launch a fourth Mini line and start amortizing them. Instead we have these.Dsho333 wrote:Licensing doesn't work like that, you have to license every character, $5k to $7k isn't a small number when you don't know how many variants you might end up making, if only 1 that's bad, 10s that's good

Yes, I get it, but what sells are the main line characters, it's hard for funko because collectors want variety but the company also needs mass appeal.

Nothing’s to stop them making another batch of Harry, Ron and Hermione, but add some others to the series, just like before.

Based on the Funko App, they were available in 2018 and were all exclusive to Hot Topic.

No these have rare ratios like 1/72 and 1/36 etc...so yes you would need to hit up multiple cases. Good luck!

They all seem to be about the same weight. The figures inside are about the same size and since they are snow globes the water kind of keeps them even in weight.
