Arkham Asylum Mystery Minis Announced!!

I want Killer Croc badly but I'll be damned if I give a dime to these ebay scalpers asking $80-$150 for him now. Did Funko send a memo they were only making 10 of these worldwide?!?!? I mean, c'mon, those are higher than proto prices or 1/144 chase figures and AFAIK this is a 1/12 figure for Walgreens which had a store on every corner in the USA.

I'll keep checking, they are sure to come out soon enough and when the dust settles it will be $20-25 piece at best.

Out Easter aisle is 100% set. No Batman minis came to fill the section, I had to pull WWE ones from the toy aisle to fill the spot. None were being ordered. I punched in a few to see what comes in. I won't know until next week.

Ordered 12 of the Walgreens boys mystery mini WIC and received a full case of Arkham minis today. Croc was by far the heaviest. I didn't bother looking for the detective mode batmen. I don't really need that many Batman variants in the minis, and I don't want a bunch of duplicates of the commons. I'll order another case for next week to give someone else a shot at Killer Croc.
Also, the sculpt of the mini is better than the Pop IMO. The proportions work better, I think.

I finally found 4 single boxes at a Walgreens today, but no heavy ones (I'm hunting for Croc). They were in the normal toy aisle with the other minis. I also saw the plan-o-gram for their unfinished Easter aisle/shelves and I did see a spot for minis. The shelves were already built (but empty) and the shelf for the minis looked big enough to fit a case...but we'll see what happens. I won't be surprised if we just get a few boxes on the Easter shelf and we'll see if they're Arkhams or not...only time will tell.

I did buy the four boxes I found today and am considering opening them to see if I get a Walgreens Exclusive Batman. I'm afraid of getting dupes of the normal ones though...I've completed the entire series so far with the exception of the Walgreens exclusives. What would you guys do if you were me....open them in hopes of an exclusive detective Batman...or just return them and keep the hunt going for Croc (which I'll do regardless)???

I say open them. You're so close to having them all you may as well try get the Walgreens Bats if you can. Even if you don't really want them (I know I don't), that way you can have the complete complete set.

Nice. I'm waiting on my case from toy wars. Can't wait to open them up. Just need to find these walgreens exclusives. The prices people are charging on eBay for the walgreens ones are so ridiculous. I really hope no one is buying at those prices. Don't people realize they're only 1/12 rarity.

So I opened the four Walgreens boxes I bought last night (thanks for the push jhorsley23) and what I got was interesting. These all came from the same store. Just wanted to share to show that dupes are possible (I expected these to be four unique figures)...at least it was a good dupe!

The person at one of the Walgreens was extremely helpful when I called today, I explained the situation and she ordered 12 of the boys minis for me, said it should be there next Wednesday or next Friday, wish me luck!

I've still been checking a lot of Walgreens in my area like crazy. With the exception of finding 4 random boxes at a store a week ago the hunt has been completely useless. No sign of them anywhere. A nice store manager ordered 12 "boys assortment mystery minis" for me and they should come in next Monday...I'll let you know how that turns out. Good luck!

Checked after work, the Easter/spring aisle is still pretty sparse- no minis. Did find the the shelf tags for them though, so I'll check back in a few days and see if that's changed.

I talked to the manager at the closest one to me and asked her if she could order twelve last Friday. She was nice and took my number. Said they should be there in a week and she'll call me. Really hoping they send the right ones.

I might have to do that because I live in a relatively small town and it seems no one buys these at walgreens. Ive checked both in town and all they have is the wrestlers, ponies, and series 1/2 GoT. I really want these walgreens exclusives I have all the others in the set

Stopped at a Walgreens after work today and they had five single boxes (found in the normal toy aisle). Not one, not two but three of those boxes were extremely heavy. I grabbed the heavy ones and just got home and opened one and it was indeed Killer Croc. I can finally stop going to Walgreens!! For those of you who are wondering, he is extremely heavy (like the GameStop Mr. Freeze was) and will be a 100% lock for all of you who are "box shakers" or pay attention to the box's weight...there won't be a doubt in your mind it's him in there when you find one. He's a really impressive mystery mini, he's huge...Funko seems to keep upping their game on each new series.

Forgot to add, I stopped into GS tonight looking for the gold Naruto mini (no extras) and they had a 10/12 figure case left, so I grabbed 4 looking for Catwoman, Ivy, Nightwing, and Robin. Got everyone I thought I would except for Catwoman, whom I was most interested in of course. Ended up with regular Joker instead.

Congrats on the pull! Croc is all I am looking for and not a single Walgreens in my area have received them yet.
Depending on the store, they either filled in the Easter shelf with random stuff or left it empty with a Myster Mini place holder tag.
If anyone is lucky enough to get an extra...keep me in mind [-o<

I finally bought some of these and they are great! Some of the best looking minis yet, IMO.

I bought the whole top layer of a new case at Walmart, and got all the villains. Thanks to everyone here who posted a case layout!

No luck at Walgreens yet. The stores I've checked haven't even had them. I would really like to find a Croc.

You kind of just get whatever the DC has. They go through old stock before new. If they had 20 cases of opened wrestling minis, well you could end up with that before they get to Batman.

My problem is if the DC has such a late back stock of old series, then they buyers may have never even purchased the new. Could order for a year and get nothing but wrestling, potentially. I have ordered basic pops for 2 years and have received 100 Olafs.

One store near me, about a year ago, had an entire aisle end plinth of TWD S2 and Guardians of the Galaxy. Probably 300 of each. Looks like about 200 of each are left. I don't see myself finding Croc anywhere anytime soon.

So p*** right now. My store actually did get a full case of the arkham ones in. I went by there and they said oh they're still getting them off of the truck. Call back in a lil while. So I called back like an hour later and the guy said oh yeah I have the box right here. I said great and I was there within five minutes. When I get there I see another employee walking to the back with two boxes in his hand. I asked him are those the arkham one and he said yeah and continued to the back. Then I find the employee that told me they had them and I asked what happened. He said oh I put them out and customers just bought them but I saved two for you. So ridiculous and I can't believe they just let that employee take some. I'm calling corporate right now.

So, I am a Batman fan, but not a die hard Batman fan. Matter of fact, I have never even played the video games these mini's are based on. The real truth of the matter is that I really just like 3 of Batman's villains. Hush, Joker, and Scarecrow. So when these were announced, I was like, well I will get Scarecrow and Joker and call it a day.

Until today I hadn't seen these anywhere in town. Not Gamestop, not Hot Topic, no where. Today I stopped in Walgreens, and I found one box.....

Reading this thread, it seems like this is a stroke of luck on my part, but I have been collecting long enough that I hate scalpers as much as everyone else, so I am not running to E-Bay.

So, if anyone is willing to trade me Scarecrow and any one of the Jokers in this series (since I can't find the damn things anywhere!)....he is yours! (Shoot me a PM)
