I noticed that the glams for the Star Wars Hikari all state "Premium", whereas ones such as Stitch do not, and cost less.
What is different about the Star Wars line to make it "Premium", and are there other "Premium" lines?
Apologies if this has been asked before.

Re: Premium vs non-Premium
I believe it has to do with the decoration - glitter, paint apps, etc.. Star Wars were mostly 'Premium' editions. Premium typically sell for about 80, the standard around 40-50.
Honestly, though, it does appear to be kind of random.

Re: Premium vs non-Premium
There is also one Premium Mickey, being the EE Vintage one, & a Premium Buzz, being the Gemini GITD one. Must have to do with the paints used and molds. The Buzz has stars inside the mold, which is also a GITD material, so that one makes sense. The Mickey seems like a patina wash over certain areas of the Hikari..so not so sure with that one.
Premiums are center pieces. I know your gonna see this pic again Alex...hope you like it

None of the Greedo Hikari got the "Premium" label, but I can't remember if they all started out with a Premium Price Tag

Re: Premium vs non-Premium
Star Wars Hikari are all Premium Hikari.
Marvel Hikari are Premium Hikari.
Disney Hikari are not Premium, and if it is an exclusive priced higher then normal that is on the retailer.
Funko's prices on Hikari are the same for a whole line (99.99% of the time).
I don't think it has to do with the type; meaning metallic, clear, glow, or glitter as it has more to do with the specific license.
The cost of that license is probably more, and that license may have more say in which type of variant gets made.
