Why couldn't the Creature From the Black Lagoon have gotten that kind of love?

These are different. SWC is the biggest Star Wars gathering all year. Pretty much everyone going will be Star Wars fans, and most will probably be collectors. With the largest edition only being 1000, Even if they haven't heard of funko, I'm sure a lot of people will want these for their Star Wars collection, not even knowing about the funko community.

I guess we'll see. Almost none of the exclusives I've picked up at Star Wars Celebrations I've attended have even held onto their original asking price--even super-limited mini-busts, maquettes and the like. I don't know how many Star Wars collectors will want to buy $80 6" vinyls on a whim. I'm fully prepared to pay $100 or more each for these Hikaris--I'm just hoping I don't have to.
