New Hikari at Thailand Toy Expo

Postby Trixt » Thu Apr 30, 2015 10:29 am

I have been looking forward to this show for a couple months now, not because of the exclusives but because I had heard a rumor that mindstyle was scheaduled to be here, and was hoping to get a look at what we can expect in terms of Asia Hikari going forward. I have been worried ever since the pope fell through, and there had been no news from them regarding any of their Hikari line shown at Toy Fair; plus the Sheriffs apparently being pulled from production. Judging from their social media though, they don't do very well with communicating what is going on. Thankfully the rumor was true and they are showing off some awesome new pieces!

There is a video on IG also of the guy doing a quick once over of the booth, I am digging through IG still trying to find pictures of everything but this is all I have gotten so far. I am beyond excited to know that this line is at least apparently still being produced, and am eagerly awaiting news on how I can get my hands on some.

I love all of them. The mindstyle hikari imo are some of the best pieces ever. I can't afford every variant nor am able to get them all but I am going to try and get at least one of each.

Thanks for sharing, Wil!

Those bloody hands ones are too darn cool looking.

I'd like to stick with buying just a favorite variant with these Hikaris, but they just won't let me.

Oh Man, these are all so very cool. The bloody hand look is awesome. Every character in that color way looks beautiful. The mummies are my second favorite, but only slightly because the rest are... awesome for lack of a better word. (I apparently need to purchase a thesaurus before going any further.)

Just one question: Where would folks in the US acquire these when they come out?

Probably somewhere around "its too expensive for you"

Is this in reference to what I said? Or did someone else have other info? Because specifically the ones we had at the party were Sheriffs I was told weren't being produced for sale, not the entire line necessarily.
