So we know that the debut box will include two exclusives, but are we thinking two pack, two related but separate figures, or just any two random characters?

I'm guessing Dooku and Grievous.

its force awakens theme so I would assume their going to be 2 characters from the new movie. I hope for at least one villain they usually look much cooler

I would think they would be pushing new figures and new characters that soon before the new movies. I'm guessing Kylo Ren unmasked and old R2?

To kick off a new service like this I think it would be epic if they had two characters who were in every single movie. R2 and 3PO two pack. That would be both a rad homage and save spoilers.

I think the Finn with lightsaber proto was the only one that doesn't yet have a corresponding production figure yet. That seems unlikely for the first box though, because it's a very minor variant and I'm sure they want to make a big splash with the intro box.

We know that Han, Luke, Chewie and Leia are in the new movie and only Chewie has a new Pop. Seems very likely the others will get Popped too, but who knows if they'll be regular issues or exclusives.

I don't see how some shiny paint is any more exciting than unmasked, I'm tired of variants period. But I guess some of you will probably be happy; I'll be forever hesitant after the disappointment that was the Ant-Man box for me.

It's a TFA theme, so no Owen or Beru, or anything classic OT.

And I'm pretty sure one of them will be masked Kylo Ren with the red eyes, I mean, his picture is right there on the box, just like lady Thor from the latest MCC was on that box.

I'm also hoping for a shiny Captain Phasma, masked. But I'd also take a Guavian Enforcer or General Hux.

Here I am trying to scrape some money together for the October Collector's Corp, and this happens. Dang it, Funko! If I end up subscribing to this one, I might just do it for the first box. Because if it ends up being old Han and old Luke, and I don't get it, I'm gonna be kicking myself for weeks. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even collect the Star Wars Pops.

Well a metallic Captain Phasma actually makes sense. Her armor is metallic, not silver. The only reason Funko decided to make the standard Pop in silver is so they can release a metallic one as an exclusive somewhere. The thing with the "unmasked" Pops is sometimes they make no sense. The Age of Ultron unmasked Iron Man for example. He's in a flying pose without a helmet. We never see him in armor without his helmet in AoU. In other movies we see him with his faceplate up, but never completely without a helmet if I remember correctly (maybe one scene in IM3?). But I agree with you. Some of these variants are just an excuse for Funko to make more $. [-X

I don't really care what two pops they put in there. Funkothe knocked it out of the park with the TFA pop they just released. I'm sure these two will be just as good, or better. I'm excited, whatever they are!

Oh, no doubt. Of course metallic Phasma makes perfect sense, it's just that I don't need two versions of the same character, especially with just some different paint. But alas, easier to re-use molds.. just disappointing is all.

But what do I know, maybe it actually will be two new characters and I'll be blown away.
