Clamshell funko pops

Do you think they will continue to release the clamshell funko pops at every big convention wondercon, c2e2,san diego, and nycc I really like that you can see the front as well as the back of the pops the one thing is the sticker because of the shape or the window it doesn't look like it will stay on forever

I think they’re pretty cool and they’ll continue to have them as long as the popularity is there.

I think they limit this kind of package to DC, it would be nonsense put another line in those because it is attached to the story of funko not that packaging itself

I like the old school packaging but there really isn't a protector for them which is a bummer.

I like the clamshells but they should only do the ones that they released back then

They're cool and a nice piece of history, but really not great for transporting. Id hope they restrain themselves somewhat though on releases.

I believe they were released this year for the 25th year anniversary. I love dc so I hope that I can eventually acquire all of them. Well the new ones! I can't afford the old school ones.

I think the clamshell is not a bad idea as long as they’re limited. I don’t think that we need them for more than a couple events.

I have the whole set, bought them myself at the booth at SDCC and NYCC. I like them a lot.
1 con, is that they really need to spend a bit more time on packing them well. I had my Joker loose in the shell, but fortunately I was able to change it for a good one. I would hate it when it stands nice on the shelve, and it is loose.

I heard these shells are easily scratched/damaged too which is why they sold them boxed up.

I like how it's being done. A few at each con. It doesn't take over but it's enough to pay homage to the history while also bringing in new collectors. Personally, hoping for that GITD Green Lantern (someday, as I'm never getting that original).

One of mine from NYCC came loose. Is there anyway to open these that people have found that doesn’t damage them and can seal it back up?

The old clamshells were a bit hard to open, hopefully Funko made these ones more accessible!
