Best/Worst Chases

I just saw the topic "Are Chases worth the Chase ?" and came to my mind what are the Best/Worst Chases made?

-Best Chase: Fight Club Tyler Durden and The Narrator as Chase, not only because it is a completely different version, but For the ones that see the movie It is important, and as a plus came with his Power Animal.

-Worst Chase: Sub-Zero, Just a little change in his hand with the power.

I will like to hear your opinions.

Best - Any of the older metallic Chases (I'll go with the Walgreens Green Goblin since I own it)
Worst - Sgt. Johnson from Halo where the only difference is a cigar in his mouth

Bad: Any chase that is poorly distributed or Doghan Daguis (Brown or Blue bag?)

Best-umbrella academy + Dr strange (the box and being the iconic 1000th marvel pop) + Haunted Mansion ones
Worst- HT glow chases

Best ones for me are the Gravity Falls, THEY LIVE Alien and also the older Hanna Barbera chases they used to do! Fun colors and cool variants! Like that Quickdraw McGraw with the two chases!

Most recent in memory: One piece Sabo chase. It was supposed to be clear but came out milky. Plus, I think any variation with single color is lazy

Best - The Punisher holding Daredevil’s mask, or the clear Invisible Man from Walgreens

Worst - the Gilgamesh Eternals chase is coming to mind here

the southpark terrence and philip chases don't have much of a difference between the pops besides the little canada flag in their hands. not the worse i've seen, but pretty low effort.

Best might be Doctor Strange. The whole box change was nice. Worst could be Weaponized Rick. He’s painted with an open mouth instead of closed.

Best chases are always the ones where they're much different than the regular ones. When the Chas is a different colored shirt or a slightly different hand gesture, I'm a little underwhelmed

I just notice the 2 Chases, I was thinking that was not in Pop. I get the Soda Donal Duck Los tres Caballeros with 2 chases. It´s been made more Pops With 2 Chases?

I agree the Metallic and Flocked are the best but I am a huge fan of the Doctor Strange chase since it was so dramatically different than the regular pop.
The worst id have to say is Doghan Daguis chase, i actually returned that chase to Hot Topic LOL

I totally agree. Finding one of those would be the ultimate score and so exciting. These days they randomly put out at HQ but maybe one or two a year.

Our ad icon chases will be the best, Boo Berry to be exact and the worst one to me is the FNAF cupcake chase. I just don’t get it, but my daughter loves it.

As far as I can recall, No Pop! release yet for the tres caballeros - we could see them as a future release (leaning towards a 3pack exclusive).

As far as I can recall, No Pop! release yet for the tres caballeros - we could see them as a future release (leaning towards a 3pack exclusive).

I am replying based on recency based on my memory:

- best one recently is the Batman Beyond Zavvi Pop (Translucent)! (Looks really cool) - can’t wait to have one!

- worst one recently are the gold spray painted Pop! Ornament chases.

I personally think the die-cast chases aren't worth chasing after. In general, I think any chases that look exactly like the common with an exception of a different treatment or finish would... not be worth it. I wouldn't call it "worst" because the figures are still incredible. I have major respect and appreciation for the designers behind these figures!

Best chases are none other than any Freddy Funko figures. I don't think I've seen a Freddy Funko Pop chase yet, I hope I didn't open a pandora's box here

Might be a unpopular opinion but pops with glow chase where the mold doesn't change from the common has to be some of the worst chase. I have a couple and I dont think I have only made them glow once. Unless you have a set up for glow pops dont see the need to get them.

Even though I lined up to get one, I think one the worst chases is Gyomei from Demon Slayer. The only difference is the crying markings on his face. Still love the pop though, he's one of my favorite characters in the series.

My favorite (maybe not necessarily the best) chases are the ones with significant sculpt alterations but it's still the same character. One that comes to mind is Skull King Triple H.

I loved the chase for Dipper from Gravity Falls, his "ghost version". Bill from that set was was also cool. I think my bar is any chase thats not just adding a hat.

I love that Pop and I was lucky enough to get the chase in an online order, but I was surprised that the crying version was not the common.

Honestly, I almost trace the fall off of chases to that specific one. I remember trying hard to find the walgreens chase green goblin and even the independence day alien, but after Doghan Daguis I just started losing interest.

The OG metallic chases were the best. The worst one I’ve ever owned was the Red Jafar GITD Chase. Only a tiny portion of it glowed.

Different times indeed…it’s a whole different ballgame now. Hopefully it’s cyclical but I doubt it.

Worse chase has to be Doghan Daguis. That had 2 different chase variants and both were terrible. Really any chase that has one thing changed or altered is just cringeworthy.
