Did you have to miss it too? It sucked! I was so excited for that panel. SDCC keeps doing this, making tickets go on sale during LACC. I think they do it on purpose. Even when LACC changes their dates, somehow SDCC badges still go on sale that Saturday. Parking is horrible! Especially if they have a concert or game that day and save parking for it. I had just gotten a new car the weekend before because my old car keeled over me. I had a hard time finding a place to park it! I literally got stuck in traffic for an hour, then another hour to pick up my badge. I tried for exclusives the next day and despite being there early, they still all sold out on me. I did manage to get them for HT store outside the con though when they released them. It will be worth it, SDCC always is! That's why it has to take priority! It'll always be my "main event"

I want to go so bad I’ve never been. It’s a big commitment for me I always go anime expo instead cuz my people’s are there haha

Any convention is a commitment, that's so true! I've heard some wild tales about anime expo, if they're true - that's some serious commitment right there. It's so nice to be amongst your peeps though. I mean, that's why all us X-men fans are in here hanging out!

Haha yeah its cool walking around seeing all your favorite anime characters walking around. My friend went to SDCC expecting to see as much cosplay but was disappointed he didn't. I told him people simply go to SDCC to enjoy. There is too many things to do and they want to be comfy doing it. Of course you got your pros cosplayers. They will be down no matter what. Yeah I was thinking of going to wondercon. It's mostly superhero related right?

Yes it IS on Disney+! One of the first things I watched when I subbed LOL. It holds up remarkably well considering its an old cartoon series.

I really want to get Disney+ so I can watch them all again. I keep arguing with myself over saving money and wanting it. I already pay for Amazon prime so I'm debating. It's only a matter of time before I cave and get it

I know, right? I am now subbed to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Spotify. Those are regular monthly expenses on my card :(

Yeah, all of them separate aren't that much, but when you add them all up, it starts getting pricey.

Yep, 2 times now in the last 3 years! I feel like the comic con gods appreciate our sacrifice though, since I've gotten 4-day passes both times it's happened in recent years! Ended up parked about a mile away, a few blocks off the main street - I missed getting into a parking structure at the convention center by 2 cars! So close!!

Luckily I already had my badge, and was able to pick up my exclusives on Friday. It's kinda fun to watch people run to get in the HT line, but goodness you'd better get out of their way! Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd love to see Rogue meet Goose!

I love to cosplay but I agree, sometimes it's just too challenging at SDCC or I don't have enough time. I lined up for a panel at 4:30am one morning and didn't get back to my hotel until 2am, no time to cosplay if I want any sleep! I usually cosplay one or two of the days, then just wear a comfy fandom shirt the rest of the days. I cosplay more at Wonder Con and LACC. SDCC is a huge commitment but it's so worth it, even just to experience it once. I love it, craziness and all. First year I went, I bought my badges a week before the con. Now it's insane but I still love it.

I've never noticed Wondercon to be particularly one thing or the other, tbh. I just think of it as fun! Hoping this year, with the new Funko booth (!!!), we get some fun con exclusives - I think an x-men exclusive would fit right in with the cool drops we've been getting recently!

Awww, if you have to get there late to get tickets, the least the world can do is give you 4-day passes! BOO! At least you got good parking to make up for it. Driving around, I was like "You want $75 for my car to sit in the sun? For that price, you should wash it, too!" Bad luck that there was a King's game later that day so they raised prices!

Were you there the year they did the signed Kevin Smith pops? A friend and I were like 25 people back from the front, but when they let us in, we found that the vendors had all lined up before they opened the doors! Suddenly 200 people back in line! We got lucky and got our signed pops, but after that we went to the show office to talk about vendors having that unfair advantage! Can't wait to see who we get this year - I keep thinking maybe Bishop ? Or Arcangel to give us a nice chrome effect? I'll take either quite happily! Hoping we get an x-men character at Wondercon, but also wondering if we won't hear until after ECCC?

I know right?! Ppsshhttt. Though I am glad I got any badges at all the rate things were going. Annoyingly I found out too late I can apply for professional badges, but at least I can try for next year! I was very happy with my parking once I was able to get in, especially since I didn't want to leave my new car just anywhere. Although between taking forever to find parking taking forever to get in to get my badge, I felt like I wasted half the day.

Was that the year they had his pop as an exclusive? I vaguely remember this. Whatever happened, I don't have one lol. I did get the Stan Lee platinum pop from his booth at the back of the con when they did that one year. When it was still Comikaze (I'm still annoyed they changed the name). The lines were horrible and based on the honor system, weaving in and out of people and booths on both sides with a big mess of people near the front.

I highly doubt we'll hear anything too after ECCC. I just assumed that they would focus on ECCC first and then shift focus to WC after ECCC was finished. I'm still so darn curious though!!

I've never noticed Wondercon to be particularly one thing or the other, tbh. I just think of it as fun! Hoping this year, with the new Funko booth (!!!), we get some fun con exclusives - I think an x-men exclusive would fit right in with the cool drops we've been getting recently![/quote

I can’t wait for the announcement. Sounds like this is the new con with lots of exclusives. Mah wallet..

I only got Thursday and Sunday this year so I missed the LACC exclusives and didn't get 4 day badges. Poo. I waited in a line to park that wasn't moving for about 25 minutes and then they opened up the parking garage attached to the convention center! So glad I stayed in that line and didn't leave like so many others did.

I'm glad you got them. I'm bummed I missed out on the GITD corrupted venom but at least I got all the ones from HT later. I missed out on that Colossus too but not for lack of trying!! It sold out on me two days in a row, no matter how early I got up for it.

That's be nice for a new one. Guess we'll have to wait and see! I'm eager to see what their Wonder Con announcement will be ever since their hint on Twitter at Funko being at WC

Yeah, between parking and the entry lines, that was a huge time suck. I think the best thing about LACC is that the give us great Marvel pops though, so it makes it worth it! Good X-men pops are worth putting up with some of the frustrations, whether it's parking or line management! I will give them credit, they really do seem to improve from year to year. And it will ALWAYS be Comikaze, I don't care what they rename it. Thank goodness they backed away from that rebrand they tried last year!

I guess we just have to be patient for some new pop announcements. Hopefully only 2 weeks or so? That would be much appreciated!

If Goose is good with Rogue, I'll be okay with everything even if Carol isn't!

And yet now maybe we'll see Wolverine? Because the internet never gets anything wrong! lol

What if Rogue and Carol start arguing and Goose stands in front of Rogue to take her side in the argument and Carol is all "what the hell?!" lol

Of course the internet is right about everything :-k

I would pay money just to see that. And also pay money just to buy the pop of that!

Wait...was that sarcasm? Is the internet WRONG sometimes???

Yeah, the first year of the LACC rebrand was terrible, it grew too much and they weren't prepared. Maybe that was the Colossus year, and another reason I didn't try for him? It's always the ones we didn't get, look back on, that haunt us!

SAME.

Mine was getting out of hand, so I (kinda) set up the same system and whittled it down to just faves.
But with all these new announcements, it is going to be TOUGH (especially with all these X-Men 80th Pops)!
Keep the MOTU line coming! :cherry:
