I saw someone made a custom PA Vegeta out of the regular one, gave him metallic repaint and actually looks better IMO, i'd rather give that customizer the 30 he wants rather than pay the ridiculous price for the regular.

but Wave 2 means we gotta get Nappa!!!!

Great Saiyaman Gohan... I think we can see 3 (or more): with helmet, with sunglasses, with nothing.

Also, I'm not a big fan of DBGT, but some of its designs are really cool, so it would be nice to have some DBGT Funkos.

And Tapion, how can you all forget Tapion? Amazing character!

agreed, why people get so hung up on pointless exclusives is one of the many things in life i'll never know. as much as I dislike them if it was a Super Saiyan Vegeta I would totally understand people being ticked off, but come on like most of you would give a flying frig about this 30 second discoloration if it wasn't in limited supply.

I agree, but it doesn't change the fact that I want/need it to complete my collection. While I also agree the customs look great, I'll know it's not the real deal and it would bother me. But I get why that sounds crazy/stupid to others...to each their own! And I'm in no way upset that I don't own him or mad that it was a limited offering. I was late to the Funko Pop game and that's what happens with these things. I'm just hoping to avoid spending $500 if possible...

you're right, I do often forget about the completionist sect of any collectible. and I can understand how annoying it must be when you've got 1 glaring hole in your display. my main point was that at the end of the day PA Vegeta is the ideal exclusive as it's such a minor blip in the series that missing it for most folks isn't an issue.

It's not so much the fact it was a minor blip in the series...
This is where we first get introduced to a character we learn to Love. the perfect opposite for Goku.. this was the original way we saw him...

compare it to ss goku shirt off and tattered (the way we saw him against frieza when he turned ss for the first time)
I would much rather have that goku as a pop than the current ssj one that we saw him in for the remainder of the series.

it's more for nostalgia.

so to say it's a "pointless" exclusive is harsh...

a pointless exclusive would be more so vegeta without scouter... now that's pointless

but planet PA Vegeta is the introduction to the awesomeness that we saw to love.

There are so many DBZ characters, arcs, movies and yet funko won't give DBZ it's own series. For wave 2 I guess they can pin it down to one saga. I'd want them to do Buu just so we can get all 3 big bads in pop form.

I do wish they'd just go by Saga, that way I feel it'd have a stronger chance of getting more characters made. but considering we already have Cell & Freiza that isn't going to be the case.

Guys, the next wave is going to have bigger-name characters than what you're all expecting. We'll get a Buu, Trunks, and Gohan for sure, hands down, bar none. Maybe a Krillin, maybe a Bulma, and maybe even an 18, if we want to really push it.

But I doubt they'd give us Tien or Dabura or any of the fusions. There are enormous characters that need to be released far before any of those. The Breaking Bad line gave us Gus Fring, not Krazy-8, you know what I mean?

Then again, the Aladdin group is still missing Aladdin, so I guess anything's possible over there at Funko...
