Yes, sticking to stores that have a good reputation for shipping stuff out like that. Had that happen once of waiting a long time for an order. They were quick to process a refund when brought up. Haven't dealt with that store since.

Yes, sticking to stores that have a good reputation for shipping stuff out like that. Had that happen once of waiting a long time for an order. They were quick to process a refund when brought up. Haven't dealt with that store since.

I usually try and stick with chalice as my first choice. Only store that ever issued a refund when I asked was balyot but they went down

I love Studio Ghibli movies. I’d want to see a Pop set of Kiki & Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service. And one of Jiji in a cage. Kiki flying on her broom with Jiji. And the bakery!!

After loosing a lot of money on several online pop stores that closed down. I am a little leery of who I use to do pre-orders now. Just sticking to the big box stores just to be safe for now

YESSSSSSS!! I wish there was a way to get this trending on Twitter or something to get Funko’s attention. I honestly have no idea how they decide on which franchises to develop, but I wish there was a way to involve Funko fans in the process.

Actually, my Mom and I used to run an unofficial miniatures fan club for a company that allowed individual retailers to create their own “store special” limited editions, as long as the edition was limited to 100 (similar to the programs with Loungefly). Many of the smaller retailers couldn’t handle that kind of financial risk, especially when they hadn’t a clue as to how to choose colors/design. So my Mom would reach out to the retailers, and guarantee the sale of all 100 pieces as long as the retailer allowed our club to design their special and our members were granted exclusive buying rights. Then we’d open up the forum to design submissions, have members vote on which design they liked best, then place an order with the retailer for all 100 pieces, minus a few held back for the retailer if they wished. It was a fantastic opportunity that benefited club members as well as the retailers, and our club came up some of their most popular designs.

It helped that we also kept club membership just below 100, so that there were always enough pieces for everyone. The club originally formed because we were all small time collectors who didn’t have the deep pockets usually required to obtain store specials (most of the major retailers either would only allow their best customers access to store specials, or they’d hold them back to sell at astronomical prices on eBay). Once in a while we’d find a major retailer masquerading as a fan in our club because they were either collectors themselves, or they were eBay speculators trying to gain access to our specials to sell on eBay. She’d always kick the bums out to make room for actual collectors who loved the pieces and could never obtain a store special on their own. Thanks to our club, fans could finally obtain the holy grail of store specials at regular retail price, and membership was absolutely free!! It was fun while it lasted.

Limited piece count is always chaotic and a hassle to collect but yeah if they did that then everyone would go nuts for it

i'm almost certain this is a licensing issue, the intellectual property on all things miyazaki is pretty valuable

Besides finishing Karasuno (at least the starters and pinch servers), I hope we get at least one or two players each from some of the other teams. Oikawa, Bokuto, the Miya Twins, Kenma and Kuro, etc.
