Well I told myself I wasn't going to get any of the reaction lines and I haven't. I only picked up the BTFF Idols when I didn't want to get any. I don't plan on getting into the LOST line since I already have two other LOST figures lines even tho I want too. I only plan on getting a few more GOT and TWD.

I said I wasn't going to collect Star Wars. But I couldn't help myself. I still need a lot more to finish the collection, as I don't have many of the earlier ones. Un-vaulting really helped me out on that one! Then I found a 'damaged' box deal for Wicket through R2-D2, which was next to nothing for them, and ended up being almost perfect boxes, and the prices of Lando and Queen Amidala seemed to skyrocket as soon as I bought them. Happy for that, as well. I know I'll never get the earlier SDCC, but that's okay.

I said I wouldn't collect My Little Pony Pop!s, but I did, because they are pretty cute. I want to collect the vinyls, too, but I'm too far behind and feel most of them would retire before I could get caught up. I need to have the whole collection if I'm going to start that. =oP

I'll also most likely never collect Dorbz, though. They are super cute, but I can barely buy all the Pop!s I want. I'd rather not open that can of worms. But they are super tempting.

I'd say I wouldn't collect Mopeez, either, but I need the NBC collection if nothing else.

Mine were Dorbz and Mystery Minis, but I ended up caving on both Although I have only ever bought one mystery mini, I don't think I'll get any more because they're too risky and expensive!
As for Dorbz, they took a little while to grow on me, but now I love them! I bought two from the Batman line, and am eagerly awaiting the Disney ones. Now I'm telling myself "but I'll only buy a few Dorbz.. the ones I REALLY like, I've already spent enough on pops so I don't wanna get into another line..."
But we'll see about that hehe

I have been resisting Marvel and Star Wars pops. First of all they are bobbleheads, which kind of brings down the appeal for me. Also, I'm not a huge Marvel fan, so even though there are lots of cool characters, there are so many characters I don't patricularly care for. There are just so many pops that I wouldn't be able to keep track.

Needless to say i managed to find him in the wild and i now collect my favourite characters from all my favourite films/shows and my collection has spiralled out of control since then XD

GoT and Marvel/DC are the couple that I don't buy unless they are something I really want and the GoT have to be on clearance. I put off Star Wars until the new Force Awakens POPs came out.

Obviously because I'm here I failed badly. Seeing the Doctor Who glams saw me weakening. But the tipping point was Orphan Black.

I now collect both plus Star Wars, Marvel, Planet of the Apes, and soon-ish Scooby Doo!

I don't think I'll ever get into Marvel or Star Wars. I'm just not a huge fan, and I feel like there's way too many for the completist in me to ever enjoy it. It pains me to know I'll never own some Disney exclusives, and I'd rather not add to the heartache, haha.

Easily Star Wars for me. So I decided to collect strictly The Force Awakens. I THINK I can manage that. I'm caught up with everything so far and I'm going to try and stay ahead of the curve so I don't fall behind.

Star Wars... I want the Chrome C3-P0 and the new Jaba set so badly, but getting either would be opening a floodgate I don't need opened. X-Men are the same way. I will never be able to resist an Angel or Archangel Pop if they make them, but so far I have been able to stay away.

I said I wasn't gonna get into the Doctor Who line, since it's been a while since I really connected to the show. While I did break that law, I've done pretty well so far only grabbing exclusives, and then, only the ones that really appeal to me. So...Good for me?

Disney, too. I caved with Inside Out, because I really wanted the SDCC exclusives, and then I nabbed Wall-E and Eve...So I'm trying to keep it at "Limited Pixar" for the sake of my bank account.

For me, it was Star Wars. I'm a completist, and I knew that I was so far behind, and that there were big money pieces out there, so I chose not to get into is, even though I've been a fan since childhood. Then the SDCC stuff hit. Then the Walgreens wave hit. Then the Ep. 7 stuff hit. Then I found a good deal on some commons and the unvaultings were happenings. So I'm now in the SW line.

I think that TWD is a line that I will definitely not be getting into, even though I love the show. I have B& W Daryl, and that's all I plan on getting.

It was originally no SW because of the stands, found out they're detachable and caved. Once I hit a dead spot in current Pops, I decided to snag some Minis, which I told myself I wouldn't buy because they're almost the same price as regular Pops. Drooled over Hikari, but also held back because of price, but thankfully a good amount of them dropped in price by a large chunk, so yep those happened too. Don't forget the Tees too, which I have around 3-4 of too, that I snagged with Hot Cash. So far I'm not good at staying with just Pops. Haha

I've been pretty good about not starting the Disney line, even though I want Gus Gus in the slipper, and all the Inside Out ones (I may buy Glitter Sadness from HT).

I also have not started collecting Star Trek or Peanuts, even though I'm so tempted.

But I also only collect my favorite characters in some of the lines that I have started. So I only own Michonne from Walking Dead. I agree with the others that there's just too many in that line. I also own quite a few GoT, but only the ones I like. And I only own three from the Doctor Who line. I don't like most of the doctors, and therefore, I don't feel obligated to collect them (such as 10th and 11th - would buy 9th if they released him, and how about some companions?).

I tried staying away from chase pops. Told myself they weren't worth the hunt cause of the amount of competition. But found myself buying one today and squealing like a pig mix school girl at home.

I've also tried staying away from dorbz but that failed.

I have been trying not to buy any of the star wars pops and my gawd..they look so cool!!! I need the new storm troopers and chrome vader. But then I will need Chewie...and Yoda...and Luke..and all of the boopity boppity robots. I must stay strong.

Star Wars, minis, Disney, and Dorbz for me! A friend got me a Walgreens exclusive Yoda though (I couldn't say no, right?!), bought the Dewback pack, and I have the Lion King set because that was always my favorite growing up. BUT I'm still telling myself not to get anymore, even though the Jungle Book line looks pretty good and I'm torn about the new Star Wars line for the movie which looks good too. :/

Avoiding Dorbz though, and the only minis I have are the two that came in the MCC AntMan box.
