I have been reading the comic and it seems okay so far. I agree with you that it is kinda lame that it has a lot of the same stuff as in the movie but there seems to be a back story that is developing which could lead to better things.

Yeah looking at what he went to from DB to DBZ is why Yamcha is my favorite punching bag. He is the only one who got worse over time.

Krillin improved a lot from when he was a kid, Piccolo held his own against Frieza, Tien held his own against Cell, even Chiaotzu did a better job then he did.

Yamcha will always be the button of everyone's jokes

Let's face it. Yajirobe is the best character. In fact the new series should be nothing but Yajirobe variants. Metallic. GITD. Blood w/ Sword. And if there is time we can worry about Trunks and Vegeta and Yamcha and Gohan.

I'm no Yamcha hater (the baseball brawl is classic) but let's not kid ourselves. In Dragon Ball Yamcha never made it out of the semi's for any tournament lol

the poor guy got screwed in every one though. first he had to fight Roshi the strongest man in the world, than he had to fight Tien right out of the gate (both of whom defeated Goku as well) and finally the poor bastard actually got matched up with God in the first round... I mean really how bad can 1 guys luck be.

Broly is an uber badass and just a force to be reckoned with. And his design is just so over the top it would make a great pop. Yamcha is below Krillen. At least Krillen got to hang around for awhile lol
