Same here. Anything thats a maybe though i put on the backburner until hot cash arrives. If its a must have i cop.

Yeah work with the local collectors buying preference, eg. where I'm at I've learned the 10" dont fly off shelves. So I'm fine waiting for them to go on clearance!

I too am a completionist so I buy things ASAP. It can be a dumb move at times since I occasionally find the Pop!s I bought earlier for a better price but oh well lol I also prioritize the more difficult items first such as chases and exclusives. However, I'm really procrastinating buying the IT Chapter Two Mystery Minis. Mystery Minis are such a pain! lol

Man 10 inches take up sooooooooooooooo much space. I usually have to really contemplate before i buy a ten inch. Haha i feel like im running out of room w ten inches in the mix.

With so many pop!s coming out all the time i just get the ones i really want irrespective of whether they are chase/special/limited editions, exclusives etc.

If they happen to go up in value or get vaulted then that's great, but i am not going to wait about for one i want to drop in value as i have done that before and then they have risen (or gone OOS) instead, also if there's a more expensive one i want i don't mind if it later goes down in value for the same reason (i want it)

I will admit I do try focusing on exclusives first just to guarantee myself having them. I of course go back and get all of the commons. If it’s a character I love like whis from Dragonball I don’t care if it’s a common or exclusive I’m getting it.

I think another thing that occurs often is i find myself patiently waiting for hot cash to go live at times so i can pretty much pick up certain lines at half off.

I let commons sit, then catch up as early as I can when hot cash starts.

I just buy the ones I want when I can get them. I don’t want to pay higher prices if and when it does get vaulted.

Being vaulted doesn’t encourage me to buy a pop at all. I personally just get what I like and not go crazy over board on buying too many pops.

This is a vey interesting thread. It’s good to see everyone’s point of view on purchasing Funko pop.
I can relate to most of you. I try to complete my anime which is the bulk of our collection. And sometimes I just buy something if I like how intricate the mould is, color and weight. But as always it gives me a feeling of joy inside when I buy something I like.
