Don't mind the way this is set up, smart on them to keep everyone in their ecosystem. The losing of the points part I dont think they thought all the way through and after complaints for the first few drops lets see if they end up changing that

It's definitely interesting with how they are going to do things with limited stuff. Hoping it goes well. I can definitely see some people not liking the price hike based on the limited number.

I'm still not sure how to feel about this. I like the idea of more limited pops but the increase price was pretty crazy and I know my wife and I felt it at wondercon. Honestly I wish I had paid more attention to the prices at wondercon and I probably would have bought less.

Also placing behind the rewards I think makes it way worse. People who buy a ton will have plenty of rewards. Most casuals won't have them and even if they do there's a chance they miss out on the sale and lose the points which is crazy. Idk this just feels like funko trying to turn themselves into the reseller instead of trying to get rid of resellers. But I do like that there are at least still going to be limited pieces and the increased price should turn some resellers away

I much rather would have the NFT limited pieces than this. I understand some people don't like the NFTs but it seems to be more lack of information or lack of wanting to learn something new. The NFT space made it harder to get the limited pops which I very much enjoy, like going to multiple stores trying to find the chase except its online and digital

So the original is still just better, same price about (after counting in shipping and taxes for this new $59 one), and has naturally increased in value over time due to its rarity and desirability.

I like the limited idea. I don’t mind the pricing. If executed properly this could be very good.

I don’t like that they require points to get them because personally Funko shop shipping and packaging is much worse than other sites.

The part that I really don’t like is they aren’t using new molds. This needs to be more than a metallic or glow variant w the increased price point.

That being said I’m def buying the demon slayer one….smh

I truly love it. Most legit fans been waiting LE pops back for a while and if this is the road we have to take, so be it...I also like that it's more exclusive depending on the tier and the points needed (plus money)....I'm excited to see where it goes

Just thought about it. They should do a sports series of signed pops. They could do milestone pops as an excuse to create a pop of someone who has one. Like League MVPs and pick older years. Rookie of the year pops.

That is what I think as well. I know that NFT's are more complicated but it seems like they are able to produce/distribute lower numbered items at a more reasonable price point this way

Yes, I love my original set. Every so often, I pull them out just to smell them. And they still smell great!
No need to pay more for these unscented ones

As someone who does infrequent purchases on Funko.com for one or two items at a time, I can say that I am not really a fan of this system. I prefer to save my points for the high end things that are hard to get, rather than spending points to spend money on things that are low LE. I know it's "only 1,200 points" to get the item but I'd need to spend a bunch to get to one. I'd rather wait for a worthwhile 25,000 or 35,000 point item I've been working towards. These are all just ways to get you to spend more money and reduce your points. I get it from Funko's standpoint, so I can't argue with it, but it's not for me. Now... they'll have me if they drop something MHA or Beast Boy... but yeah...

I really like these limited edition pops the only thing that is rough is if the boxes get messed up and you get them scratched then you can't easily just replace the hard protector. But I was able to get some at Wondercon and was really happy with how they came out.
