Boston comic con

Never been to a comic con event anywhere, just wondering if any of you know if there will be people selling POP! there? Or is it mostly for comic book stuff? It seems like the only places that do the POP! are the SDCC and Toyfair. Anybody know if I'm just wasting my time going to this particular event in Boston?

I was wondering the same thing about the Toronto Comic Con that is coming up soon.

There might be a coupe of dealers with Pop in their booths, but it'll be mostly comics.

I couldn't imagine there not be any pop there, specifically marvel/dc pop. My concern would pricing be outrageous over there.

As opposed to what? EBay? $200 penguin chase remember! Hopefully it's not that bad and I can find something I'm missing!!

See, a $200 penguin is trying to catch a sucker during the crazy hype, or someone trying to predict the future as far as value for a piece. It didnt sell, if the seller was smart he would have added an offer option, hell maybe a $160 offer comes in?

The bigger concern is the comic guys who dont follow pop to closely and just look at ebay for their price guide. Rather then seeing the penguin actually selling for $50-100, will they point out the $120-200 chase penguins (yet not point out they haven't sold) and slap $150 price tags on them? It's safe to say as of right now chase pieces are $50-100 or so, the extremely high price tag on a couple unsold pieces aren't going to change any pricing for us here, but may change the price in a field where they aren't close to the auction, making them rot on a pegboard with a crazy price tag on them.
