Really hoping for Chuck E. Cheese Pops soon

With what’s going on now and the recent news of the Chuck E. Cheese company going bankrupt, I really hope Funko takes the opportunity to make pops of these characters before its totally gone. I’d really love to see the vintage iterations of Chuck E. Cheese as well as Showbiz Pizza Place (what it once was). I wanna show my support for these characters to be made into Pops! Hopefully

They better hurry and make them! You would think Chuck E Cheeses would welcome the licensing money. Heck the one local one is wings and pizza $5.00 and it's in the Stater Brothers parking lot. 2-3 cars for pizza. I mean how many people actually go there to eat pizza because it's definitely not good. When my daughter was little she used to love going there for the rides and games. So I would take her once a week or so. Order her small pizza and drink and than we would play games. Her favorite ride was that car with Chuck E Cheese and it says (Don't forget to fill it up aith gas and took a picture of the person sitting in the car. We must have 15-20 of those pictures. Well you can't play games or see the show or even sit down inside. So you might as well go to the supermarket and buy a frozen pizza. It's definitely a step up from Chuck E Cheeses pizza. But I would like to get a Pop for my daughter as we do talk about how she loved that place. I sure was glad when she outgrew it..

Yes these characters would make for some really nice looking pops. As a parent of a young daughter who loves Chuck E Cheese, she’s going to be sad that she won’t be able to go anymore. So I can see myself buying these pops as a remembrance of how much fun she had.

Who the heck are all those characters?!? Maybe a Chuck E Cheese ad icon sure..but the rest let's be real here the grand total demand of people wanting the weird side characters from Chuck E Cheese enough to actually buy a $10 pop would be very, very small. You're hoping for like 13-14 pops in addition to Chuck E Cheese., lets put it in perspective. Do DisneyParks characters which have far more recognition have even 13-14 pops yet? And arguably DisneyParks characters have far more general population recognition and loyalty.

I'm just gonna flat out guess that the minimum run for even an exclusive at a major retailer is at least 10k pops (i.e. Target has 1.8k stores in the US and I haven't seen a release from them with any less than 6 Pops/store). I highly doubt you would find 10k+ people who would want those additional 13 characters not named Chuck E. Cheese. I'm gonna guess Funko and the variety of resources required to make any new POP is only limited in so many things they can create in one year, why use it for a pop that would maybe sell 10k units (at best) vs the one that would sell 5x more (you could literally make another 13 more Baby Yoda pops, and they would all do better). Sorry if i'm being a Debbie Downer. Chuck E Cheese at best, but my best guess is...their Lawyers are more concerned about the rumoured bankruptcy than licensing approval for a pop.

Would definitely love Chuck E Cheese pops! Chuck E Cheese was a big part of mine and my son's childhood... we would go as a family or for parties, etc. Would be nice to have at least Chuck E.

I recently bought the retro Chuck E. Cheese pop I needed one in my collection I love Chuck E. Cheese and my kiddos do too. I bought one off a whatnot seller and I bought an extra from Mercari both for cheap. The Mercari seller canceled my purchase “it got lost in transition I think it got lost” I got a refund. The whatnot seller didn't seem to care he really wanted to make a sale I feel it haha. Price is everywhere I seen one sale for like 20 bucks 18 bucks they go quick maybe since there is some listed for 35,40,60,80 range. I asked a few whatnot auction shows but nobody has it. It’s a pop that is starting to become more rare since only a hand full listed online. I am glad I got one before price jumps I guess if you see one for cheap I would grab it asap who knows if funko will make more of those down the line. I can’t wait to have mine tomorrow going straight into a pop shield armor.
