Don't know how I missed the nightmare Before Christmas page in the catalog scans but... Pumpkin King Jack and a new Sally variant have concept art in the catalog. that Pumpkin King looks freaking awesome

Hoping one day we get a Pluto, I think a Pop of him would be awesome!
But I am very glad with the Disney Pops we got this year, I'm goanna be spending a little more on Disney this year

So a fellow Funatic posted a video going through the new 2015 catalog, and Ursula is still listed in the catalog. Hopefully this means that Ursula is in fact not retired since she's been going for nearly $100 on eBay.

Me too, I bought Ursula for $45 AUD about 2 months ago, which was apparently a bargain compared to the prices I've seen her sell for since - easily over $100. But still, $45 is enough for me to be mad about it if she does in fact come back haha.

I don't think she's coming back necessarily, she was also in the 2014 catalog. More like she just hasn't been being produced with the amount of new Disney pops available and has been hard to find with people claiming she's been retired, at least I hope as I'm still looking for her.

I just wonder why art for Pocahontas wasn't released? I thought that film's pops was supposed to be early 2015 like the others.

Lola wasn't either, this much I know, in the list that Brian gave for the 12 days of Christmas Pocahontas wasn't in the same announcement as those that we got to see art for. Oddly enough he never teased Agent May or the new Ariel so I am surprised we got to see that they look like before Pocahontas. Another thing to consider is that Pocahontas has its 20th anniversary this June so either he wants her released then or he may show art then. I just really hope that for Pocahontas we also get her father, John Smith, and Governor Ratcliffe.

On a completely different thought, has anyone noticed that of the classic characters released last year most of them were animals? this year the classic characters area all princesses. Just a pattern I noticed. Last year we got Finding Nemo, Lion King, Robin Hood, Jungle Book, Bambi, Roger Rabbit. This year we are getting Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Pocahontas. Perhaps next year can have a good amount of Disney Afternoon TV characters like Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, etc. And hopefully soon we will finally get a Pluto

Now that you mentioned it, maybe they are saving all the princes for a themed release next year!

Another funatic posted this link in another thread. Seems to me like she will be coming back. Which is awesome because I've been hoping and waiting for her re-release ever since I passed over her the first time when I just started out and then missed her last year on Popcultcha.

Popcultcha told me that they never got in Ursula in. I waited months and nothing! Missed the Toys on Fire presale, I seriously hope all the usual suspects start preorders soon.

so I don't know what you guys have heard but it sounds like now Disney and Star Wars are both instead of getting traditionally retired, simply "vaulted" so that much like how the films are re-released every 7 years or so, the Pops can get re-released later on based on demand

if only more things could be like this, like I hate when Disney does pins for movie releases or for holidays or park anniversaries that are quite nice but LE. What sucks is that if you aren't a local you end up having to go through ebay for all of them because any LE pin you can't order over the phone until a month after release... well you can guess how many pins end up still being around at that point, most of them sell out on the first day. I've been trying to get a few movie ones but it never works out

I ordered the new AoU Iron Man from him last week, he's a legit seller and ships fast.

I hope we do see Pops of characters from the Disney Afternoon, or simply a line of Disney Afternoon ones. With the new Darkwing comics coming up as well as DuckTales new reboot in a couple years in the looming future seems like the odds are greater than previously.

I've been saying this for an absolute age! Gaston is my favourite BATB character and he's constantly left out of merchandise, if they ever release him, then I'll probably start to seriously collect the other BATB ones, but for now - or at least until they come out with Gaston - they're not my top priority to buy.
