MLP Vinyl Discussion (Funko please bring back the Vinyls!)

Yeah, that's why I would never bother ordering more than one of each character per order. I've had enough luck just doin' what I do.

No glitter Spike, but I did pick up my order and he's soooo cute! Hopefully he starts showing up in stores outside of California soon so more of us can start the glitter hunt!

My Spike order has not arrived yet and Hot Cash is going to expire tomorrow so I just went to buy one along with some Avengers mystery minis.

"Tanks for the Memories" this morning was such a great episode, I've watched it twice already! More Rainbow Dash centric episodes like this and she would be my second favorite.

I haven't watched the show week-to-week since midway through season three and after that the last episode I watched since then was the finale of four, which...was pretty 'meh' in my opinion. I honestly wouldn't have even known season five had started if I was not on a pony forum.

I really liked the episode. Dashie is my favorite, so I was glad that she had an episode that made her relatable for a lot of people who don't normally like her. Like...if my ferret had to hibernate for a few months every year, I'd be crying like a baby too!

So has anyone who lives east of Texas found Spike in stores yet? I was thinking of calling the HT's in my area during my lunch break today to maybe find a glitter.

Found Spike at 3 HTs no glitters. One store appeared to get half a case the other two stores both had roughly 3 Spikes left. Will be checking another store today. Shining Armor has been at only two of the HT so there is still hope to find him in the wild!

No Spike for me yet- congrats to those of you who have him, and who already have glitters! It's weird that they did his head in a different material, isn't it? I wonder if he will be released with the next wave of Mystery Minis?

Yeah, me too unfortunately. I have switched to Steven Universe- which I am enjoying a lot more (although the first few episodes were a little stupid- they picked up dramatically)

I saw Spike today and Hot Topic and I was shocked at how small he was! I guess I was under the impression that he was going to be bigger, so I just stood there like an idiot staring at him with wide eyes for about a minute.

Heads up, the Hot Topic I went to had all their POPs buy two get one free, not sure if that includes the pony figures or not because I was there in search of mystery minis, but I thought I would let you guys know.

I called 5 of the 6 HTs near me and they all had Spike, but none had glitters. One of them did say they expected a large shipment today around 1pm (which was half an hour ago) and my I sent my fiance a text to see if he could call them since he's taking his lunch break late and I'm kinda stuck at my desk right now.

Haven't found any Spikes yet.

I almost bought another Twilight just so I'd have her box lol

. She looks so insignificant on the same shelf as the royal family, when she doesn't have her own riser lol

You can definitely have my Twilight box after I find it! lol

If you can wait another week or two, I'll try and locate it. If you need any others, let me know. My glitter variants are still in their boxes, but the regular ones were taken out and I put the boxes in the attic.

Finally was able to order Spike. Actually two as one is for me and another one for something else, unless I luck out and get both regular and glitter, then I'll keep both of them.

I found Glitter Spike in store today! I was at the local mall for a Mother's Day present and decided to stop by the HT, not really expecting anything but there he was, glitter Spike!

It's true!

The gummy figure actually came with the Pinkie Pie Equestria Girls doll. I don't collect the dolls, but I know someone who does, so I bought it while it was on sale at Target, kept Gummy, and sold Pinkie. ;-)

Same here! I got into G1 last year and there are so many beautiful designs, it'd be neat to see them done by Funko!

Ive gotten a lot of these for my daughter and she really likes them but I dont think I will find a Luna or Celestia cheaper than what they want on Ebay. She's turning 2 next month and I decided to get her Spike, Shining Armor and Dr.Whooves. For the original Ponies we only need Fluttershy,Rarity and Pinkie Pie. Personally I really like the Big Mac we get her.

If she keeps staying around that price, she'll just have to forever be the only glitter I never get. I've been tempted to hit the Buy It Now button for her plenty of times, but I always think of all the other ponies I could get for $90, or Sailor Moon stuff, or Pokemon. lol

Plus saving money to spend at the MLP Fair next month doesn't help either. But that's awesome that you'll be getting her! I'll just keep admiring her from afar, I guess. Make sure to post lots of pictures!

Right Solstice it comes down to what you want most sometimes, if you'd rather have that POP or other things than hold off on buying her, but like you said you wanted her more saved up a bit and bought her, no harm in that, for the two I bought off eBay I think one was about that and the other was more than that.

I honestly would drop the money if I didn't collect other things. Because $90 isn't as bad as what she had been going for before, BUT I also know that these do eventually drop in price and I have to be patient. Which is incredibly difficult considering how impatient I can be. I also kinda wish I did have other things to sell, because that would be an easy way to get the money to go towards the only glitter I'm missing, but I sold my most valuable pony extras last year to go towards something I wanted then.

And yes, this'll be my first pony fair, I'm so excited! I plan on buying so much G1 stuff and I got the ticket package that automatically gets me whatever pony Hasbro will have as the fair and SDCC exclusive for this year! My fiance and I will be moving into our new house just a few days after we get back from the fair, so I won't even feel guilty for buying a ton of stuff... because I'll have a pony roooommm! *dances*

Also hoping to hear something about the Funko pony SDCC exclusives and/or new figures coming out soon!

So I'm pretty upset that WLF is getting to make Chrysalis before Funko..... She is my number one most wanted! Although these aren't coming out until the very end of the year so it's possible we will get a Chrysalis before then! *begs Funko
