MLP Vinyl Discussion (Funko please bring back the Vinyls!)

Still no new vinyls at any of the HT's near me, but at my local one they actually sounded informed for once. The girl told me "We don't have the new ones in yet, but maybe soon" which is a lot better than the other times I've called and have gotten "I don't think we have those".

I'm hoping my order will arrive tomorrow and maybe line up with the stock that the store will be getting, so I'll know then and there if they have any glitters.

Thanks Renia. One of my local ht didn't have any new ones in and they said hopefully soon as well.

My pre order should land at my local HT store soon. I can't wait!!

I broke down and bought one of those stupid dolls because it was on sale, but it was aaaalll worth it for how perfectly Gummy goes with Funko Pinkie Pie! Here's hoping they do the rest of the pets. [-o<

I collect the cards! I've completed series 1 and 2 and I'm three boxes into series 3 (pre-ordered a box last September for $50, got another box for my birthday, then a third box because it was like $35 or something). I got lucky and got a different box topper card each time, so I'm missing one box topper lenticular and two others that can be found in packs. I have all of the special foil stickers that are exclusive to Walmart, so now I'm just searching for the promos I'm missing.

I absolutely love the trading cards, if you couldn't tell.

I should've preordered a box or two. And I guess I'll need to visit Walmart for those foil stickers.

Gummy looks great but zero chance that I'd be willing to be an Equestria Girls doll.

I won't have time this week to hunt at HT's (going to Star Wars Celebration) so I hope the new ponies don't arrive just yet.

I'm still like... 99% against Equestria Girls dolls because I think they look so... ugh. At least they look somewhat cute in the movies, but they didn't translate well to dolls at all. They just look like shameless Monster High/Ever After High/whatever the heck rip-offs. But I couldn't find a loose Gummy ANYWHERE. I even got in on a group Taobao order on the MLP Arena and we searched all over for loose Gummy to maybe add to our orders and it never turned up. Even on ebay I can't find people just selling Gummy on his own.

Good luck with the foil stickers! All of the Walmarts around here have the same two (AJ and Pinkie) so I got annoyed and ended up winning all 6 stickers in a lot on eBay for about $10. Apparently promo cards are showing up in packs of cards as well.

I'm hoping my HT gets the ponies in sometime this week and that my order arrives soon. I'm going to a convention this upcoming weekend and won't be able to glitter hunt until next week.

PS. I was looking to do the same exact thing I want that Gummy bad. Don't wanna spend $22 on the doll... I did find him on ebay loose but he was still expensive, too bad its not $12 with free ship. I'm still on my gummy hunt, where did you find the same and how much?

If you have the Target Cartwheel app, you can get a 20% off coupon specifically for the EqG dolls that have pets (which will bring it down to $17). I used that on top of a gift card for Target that I got through the ShopKick app. So I think I paid around $12 for the doll + Gummy.

Not sure if any of the pony people venture out of the pony threads. I posted this in "Eye on the Web" earlier. I just want to make sure that all the pony people are aware of what they are purchasing so they don't get ripped off. These are not real protos. They are stripped production pieces and were originally sold on ebay through a seller in China. Now they are being resold as "protos". THESE PIECES ARE NOT PROTOS! PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!

Luck was on my side today. I pre-ordered 2 ponies (1 of each) and got a glitter shining armour. My local store didn't have either of the ponies in stock but they hope this week. As I mentioned above at least 1 store got some in.

I think someone else reported that thier glitter Cadence seemed "softer" than other glitters. I took my SA out of the box and he is defintely much softer than my other glitters. His hind legs are somewhat malleable. doesn't effect how he stands and all that but just something to note.

The glitter Cadance is a little softer than the regular Cadance thats for sure. No big deal tho its kinda cool!
